Absolute BEST cabin in Broken Bow!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

Let me start by saying that any description I give of this rental will be doing it a great disservice. It is amazing!!! We rent through VRBO a lot & by far this rental was by far the best.

Upon arrival, you realize that this cabin is close to everything you need yet far enough away to not have road noise. It was easy to find & the second you pull into the drive you feel welcome. As you make your way up the drive you are greeted by Cardinals flying tree to tree as if celebrating your arrival. You then see the horseshoe pit, which is very well maintained. Next is the inviting fire pit area which is nicely organized with plenty of stacked firewood & a perfectly arranged seating area.

After the entrance you see the front of the cabin and immediately feel at home. As you enter through the door your stresses fall from your shoulders & once inside you notice that everything was well thought out and every need felt anticipated. Plenty of kitchen accessories, tons of towels/toiletries, and as much bedding/pillows as you could possibly want. The beds were also very comfortable & inviting. On the back porch was the hot tub. The entire porch is enclosed & that made it even better. The hot tub set up was the best we’d ever seen. They even left enough roof open that you could still stargaze. It was fantastic.

You are very close to multiple places to eat, several gas stations, which were reasonably priced for milk, fire starters, and multiple other odds/ends. You are also in very close proximity to the lake, state park, and national forrest. The location was perfect.

I always try to mark a negative in any review so, being hard pressed to do so, here it is. The only negative I would say has NOTHING to do with this rental but the entire area. Many people picture Broken Bow as it once was, a cabin, surrounded by woods, with no one in sight. It is now turning into more of a subdivision of cabins due to the explosion of growth in the area. With that said though, it is in no way a knock at this place. This cabin is the best Broken Bow has to offer, & despite the growth of the area, still felt warm, inviting, & miles away.

Also, any time I rent a property, the interaction with the owner is important. Delzie was great to work with & very accommodating. I would’ve been remiss not to mention her and give her a public thank you for sharing her piece of heaven with us. It was great! If you’re headed to Broken Bow then cogratulations, you just found THE PLACE!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your wonderful review!! I can't tell you how much it means to me. I do work very hard to make my guests comfortable during their stay and I love to hear about it and share with future guests. My privacy fence should be up in about two weeks. Yeah!! Hope you will visit again!! Delzie Stiles

Absolutely Amazing

  • 5 of 5

The Pictures does not do this place justice. It is much better in person. It is well decorated and will have you amazed by all the details. It is definitely secluded with a really long private driveway and has a very private jacuzzi. It is close to everything as far as dinning and nightlife but this place will make you want to stay in and cook. If you do it is fully stocked bring your food, charcoal for the grill and of course you favorite beverages and really do what this cabin is meant to do. Chill and Relax! I can’t wait to go back!

Nice and Quiet

  • 4 of 5

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. It was a bit cold, but we still managed to venture out to play a bit with the horseshoes and for my eldest to take some pictures. There were a lot of birds and a few other animals around mid-morning which was fun. It was also great to see our 2 daughters who are 3.5 years apart in age playing games together. It's been years since that has happened.

There was some gapping around the front door and we could not get the hot tub more than lukewarm, but then again it was in the 30's while we were there.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. I'm so sorry about the cold weather you had during your stay. I guess it was just to cold for the hot tub to warm to the correct temperature. I would love to make this you to you in some way. I can offer you a discount if you would like to return when the weather gets a little warmer. Would love for you to come back and be 100% satisfied with you stay. Delzie Stiles

We stayed at Chillin Cabin for two nights for a quick anniversary getaway. Everything was absolutely perfect especially the bottle of wine and anniversary card that was on the counter when we walked in. We couldn’t even remember telling the owner it was our anniversary. The cabin is adorable and very well decorated. Everything you could possibly need for cooking is included. The hot tub was perfect and we loved how secluded the cabin is. We would recommend this cabin to anyone and we hope to stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us Delzie and David!!!
