Welcome to 7 Star Ranch, the most luxuriously appointed, breathtakingly majestic, fantastically jaw-dropping vacation home you and your loved ones have ever imagined. Located on a cliff-side bluff overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Blanco River, this designer home was built with unparalleled quality and impeccably decorated, all with the exclusive luxury vacationer in mind.

This beautiful two-story home boasts 5,600 sq ft of open living space, flowing from one divine room to the next. Definitive paintings by renowned international artist Edward Povey and other acclaimed artists dot the home’s exceptional blend of traditional styles with clean modern architecture. Featuring breathtaking views of Texas Hill Country from every room, 7 Star Ranch sleeps 8 comfortably with four bedrooms and four full baths and an additional three half baths.

In addition to the ample sleeping amenities, the home offers three separate and distinct living areas and a gorgeous, Tuscan-style formal dining space with a one-of-a-kind fresco. The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s delight with plenty of open working space to prepare a wide array of delicacies for you and your guests.

Step outside onto the large back deck and feel the warmth of the sun as you relax and unwind while working on that fresh summer glow. You’ll see green for miles as you look out over the many cypress and oak trees the home’s lawns and surrounding acres provide. Head on down the breezy 85 ft railed stairway that leads to the back lawn and private Blanco River access below. And while you have the full benefit of gated privacy and a feel for the Hill Country, you are only 1/2 mile from Wimberley city square and all of the “wonderful shopping” that it provides.

Perhaps the most stunning feature of the home’s outdoor living space is the pool where you can sit with friends or cool off on hot summer days. With so much space and so many amenities, you will never have to leave the ranch to have the vacation of a lifetime. And for those who desire 5 star luxury, 7 Star Ranch will undoubtedly exceed your wildest expectations.

Guestbook comments from the manager

7 Star Ranch provides an awesome family getaway. We love Wimberley, and there is so much to do in town, but we ended up leaving 7 Star only one time – to enjoy a wonderful lunch at Marco’s, browse the shops, enjoy yogurt and spend a little time along the beautiful creek.

We enjoyed a family reunion with our 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. As soon as we drove through the gates I could feel my stress melt away.

Hill Country Premier Lodging was great – first helping me find the perfect property for our family and then patiently answering my many questions in the days leading up to our visit. I had a couple of questions when we arrived and even though it was late Hill Country Premium Lodging responded immediately.

The home is luxurious, yet somehow so comfortable. The master suite is beautiful. I love that each bedroom has its own bathroom so each of our families had privacy. Our kids and grandkids spent most of the time in the beautiful pool, but also enjoyed several trips down to the river, and just sitting on the porch enjoying the view and the many deer on the property. We took full advantage of the beautiful spots all over the property for photos.

The kitchen offers everything one could possibly want or need for preparing meals. There is plenty of space so it was easy to organize the food for the weekend while keeping the beautiful kitchen looking neat and orderley.

It was a family vacation which will live forever in our memories! – The Vandermeer Family

Our stay at 7 star ranch

  • 4 of 5

Lovely home. Spacious. Nice kitchen. Nice dining and den. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 2 children. House was clean. Outdoor ant problem. Inside gnat problem. Pool area - lawn furniture in poor condition and outdoors could use some attention. Overall, nice property.

Not worth the cost

  • 3 of 5

The property was lovely. The house was lovely. However, many of the amenities did not work. The hot tub (which we told the rental property company was very important to us) did not work. We asked for the hot tub to be fixed so that we could use it and they were unable to fix it. The dishwasher broke down half way through the trip. This place did not seem to have any preventative maintenance done to it. The house was not as clean as we'd hoped either. We found cat poop and an old sticky popcicle stick while playing with our babies on the floor. There was also a sticky substance on the wall in one of the bedrooms (like someone had sprayed a soda). The decorations were pretty tacky as well. Overall this place was not worth the cost. If it had been cleaner and the hot tub working it might have been worth it, but still it was too much. The owners only knocked off $100 per night because of the hot tub. This did not seem very generous to me. I would not rent this property again.

Owner's Response: My Response As in this case, we respond immediately when issues arise with our properties. Unfortunately because the stay was during a holiday weekend the pool company who takes care of the pools and hot tub was not able to find the part for the hot tub. Since the 2008 review, the owners have updated the property with new furnishings and carpets and have hired new cleaning staff as well. Seven Star Ranch remains one of our most sought after properties for both new and returning guests - with a gorgeous view of the Blanco River, private river access and the beautiful pool, hot tub and back deck this private ranch home is perfect for a family retreat.
