Clean townhome

  • 3 of 5

Well stocked. Clean. Great location. Very private, with great views. In need of some repair, especially the balcony. Nails are sticking out. The locks on the entrance door are a pain. Currently construction in progress right across the street.

Love the location!

  • 5 of 5

Great location if you like privacy. Right next to the national forest and the last house on the road, we saw deer from the kitchen almost every morning. Great living space and large deck, private hot tub, the only problem is road noise but we didn't seem to care. Be prepared for lots of stairs, but again, not a problem for us and virtually no road noise when the windows are closed. We loved our stay and thanks so much to Doug!

Mediocre, at best.

  • 2 of 5

The apt is at the end of a dirt road with no parking for this unit. Perhaps in the past you could park in front of the garage however major construction across the street (moving of boulders and earth to create a retaining wall) leaves your vehicle at the mercy of a construction crew. Various garbage cans block the entryway to the apt making a low first impression. Kitchen is nice and well stocked. main bedroom is nice, the other two are tiny, and claustrophobic. A massive load of wet towels were in the dryer when we arrived meaning we had to dry what became 3 loads of towels in order to dry our hands or shower. Traffic from the highway outside is a constant drone--it never quiets. The hot tub is a joke-- water is tepid not hot and the surface surrounding the tub appears to be crumbling or over a sinkhole. The price of this unit in no way reflects the amenities. Pass on this one.

Owner's Response: Across from my Building there was a major construction project digging foundations for three homes this summer which created a very dirty - dusty summer. My place is located on a paved road that happened to be covered with dirt much of the summer. I do have a two car garage my guests can use. I was unaware the project had started the week before these guests came to town and had previously let guests park in front of my garage. The hot tub gets plenty warm if it doesn't just call me. You can lock it if you play with the settings. The highway is off in the distance and you will only hear it with windows open.

Great value

  • 5 of 5

This is by far the best place we have stayed for the money. Parking is a little tight if you have a couple of big trucks like we did but it's ok. Plenty of space for all and a nice kitchen and living area with a nice view. Overall a great place with a great price!

Winter 2017

  • 4 of 5

I visited this property in Feb 2017 with my family of five to ski Vail and Beaver Creek. We really liked the place...it was a five minute drive to Vail Village parking and about 15-20 to Beaver Creek. The unit was well stocked and comfortable, and te pictures reflect the unit well. Other than locking the door being kind of tricky, everything was great. I am comfortable recommending it to others!
