Why Patrick & Jeannie Scofield chose West Sedona
There is something special about this space, it's exposure and interior space-plan drive a calm into anyone who inhabits it. The warm and colorful interior has a welcoming broad-shouldered nature that says "stick around a bit". We adore the chandelier, in the morning and evening, light spills in from the high clerestory windows sets it afire with prismatic light. One guest called the house "inviting" and we really like that. If you enjoy yoga, the living room has plenty of space for several people. We provide 6 mats for your enjoyment. Our hope it that you will slow down a bit. We have provided several different board and card games as well as a variety of jigsaw puzzles, a modest library and a satellite radio so that you can get away from TV's and electronic devices. We have placed makeup tables, blow dryers and makeup mirrors and stools in each room. We know that you want to go enjoy your day as soon as possible. Our goal was to allow you not to tie up a bathroom, further delaying the process. We also have added a hot-tub for your enjoyment, viewing the stars from it on the West porch at night has been a thrill.
What makes this House unique
Being in the Western side of Sedona has been a real bonus. From Phoenix you can arrive through the Cornville wine country and shave :05 minutes off of the drive or you can take Exit 198 and arrive through the Village which gives you spectacular views on your way in. It is quieter, and we are in an elevated green area at about 4,444 feet. Several grocers are only a couple of minutes away, it is a short walk to the library, bars and pizza. Most restaurants are within 10 minutes of our property Traveling from our house to Uptown Sedona or anywhere east of our property typically doesn't have the amount of traffic that coming up from South Sedona or the Village does. This allows you to arrive many places quickly. You can take a shortcut through scenic Thunder Mountain Drive if traffic is congested going back home. This typically happens early evening. Great house, great hosts
Couldn’t really ask for anything more from this property. The house was much larger in person than it appeared in the photos. The house was extremely well equipped and Patrick and Jeannie were fantastic hosts. I can’t say enough good things about how wonderful they were as hosts.
Unfortunately for us our stay happened at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic and they were very helpful in accommodating us when others in our group traveling from out of country cancelled their trip.
I hope to be back next year again.
A beautiful home in a perfect location!
This home exceeded our expectations! We absolutely loved it here. It is the best VRBO we have ever stayed in!
It is decorated nicely with sun beaming in all the right windows. This home is roomy, cheerful, comfortable and very organized with everything you need for your stay. West Sedona is a perfect touring base and close to Uptown.
The owners are wonderful and are very attentive! We would definitely stay here again in the future! It was a priviledge to share their home!
This gorgeous home was equipped with absolutely everything you would ever need. We had 8 women for a girls trip and it was absolutely incredible. We had an amazing time making so many memories. Patrick & Jeannie were great. They responded immediately to any questions before and during our time. The home is stunning. It is in the best location of Sedona. Everything truly was perfect. Have already referred friends and we will definitely be back. You seriously do not need to look any further. Would not change a thing!!!
Amazing girls weekend! There were 8 of us who came into town for the Sedona Half Marathon. The house/kitchen was SO well stocked, spacious, clean, close to everything! We enjoyed cooking dinner, early mornings on the front porch, late evenings in the hot tub or back patio! I cannot say enough about our weekend. The owners were attentive and super easy to work with. Book the house - you will not be disappointed!
A wonderful weekend
What an amazing place to celebrate over 25 years of friendship!! We came from four different corners of the country and we all agreed we would come back in a heartbeat. Beautifully appointed, fantastic location, really terrific and attentive owners - by far the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. Go! You wont regret it!!
This was the best VRBO we have stayed in. We travel a lot and this was the best place we have stayed in. Everything you need is there from many kitchen necessities, games, pickleball paddles, and even hair ties which my wife forgot to bring. The manager was very responsive to some questions we had. We would definitely stay there again. I can't think of anything we needed that was not there. Thanks for the place.
Scott, Thanks for the kind review, we work hard to make staying with us the best stay ever! It was also gratifying that you used the pickle ball paddles we sent you. BTW, We own the home as well as manage it, making the experience better for our guests - as we are focused on how they enjoy OUR place.
Explore a vortex, hike, jeep, helicopter and bicycle your way through a warm small-town experience in one of Arizona’s and the world's natural wonders.
We are super close to everything so you won't have to fight too much traffic going to and fro. The distances and times are per Google Maps: the speed limits are a leisurely 35 to 45 MPH
