Imagine a refreshing walk on the beach after a day in the city centre (just 10 minutes away by bus ,the bus stop is just next door ,) shopping or visiting the many attractions, museums, theaters, Or take a short 5 minute , stroll to the quaint Sandymount Village with its award winning restaurants, cafes, friendly pubs, supermarkets , banks,shops etc.
Excellent transport links.... we are close to the DART ( urban train) and the AIR COACH stop is just a 15 minute walk away.
Very well presented and furnished this extremely comfortable large apartment comprises : private entrance, hallway, living room with doors to the sunny garden, large bedroom with a double and a single bed,
Fully equipped kitchen , washing machine, full electric cooker and microwave, bathroom with power shower and bath.
We supply quality towels, linens etc, free WIFI, SKY TV, DVD player we hope we have provided everything you need for an enjoyable stay but please do ask if you have a special request.
As there is a small private garden, well behaved pets are welcome.
BY CAR: As we are on Dublin Bay we are within easy drive from either Ferry Port.
There is unrestricted on street parking and our location allows easy access to the M50 .
We are close to the RDS , 3Arena, Grand Canal Theatre, AVIVA Stadium and we are also near St. Vincent's Hospital, and the Blackrock Clinic
We are on a direct bus route to Trinity College and UCD also.

Truly my 2nd home!
I have made this my home in Ireland for several years. It is a charming apartment with every amenity I need for a week or a month...I've stayed both. The location provides for easy access to Dublin and any other areas I may chose to visit, yet gives me a sense of being part of a community. Sandymount village is a short walk away and has everything you need in a quiet, picturesque, neighborhood setting. Bus service is literally a few steps from the front door.
I am a "senior" and travel on my own. I have always felt secure in the apartment and in the village. Iverna goes way beyond the norm to provide a lovely, well-maintained "home" for her guests. I'm already looking forward to next year's visit!
Superb holiday at "Seavew" in Dublin 4
My wife and I were delighted with our week's stay in the garden apartment at "Seaview". It was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well located - a real home from home. The apartment more than lived up to its description.
Mrs Hynes, the owner, is a delightful lady, charming to talk with, and she made us very welcome. She gave us many invaluable tips about places to visit, and where to shop and eat in the locality.
An additional bonus is the apartment's location. There is a frequent and inexpensive bus service from just outside the apartment into central Dublin - so no hassle in driving / parking in the city centre. Sandymount itself is a lovely area, with a very relaxing, laid back and safe atmosphere. It's home to a number of shops, restaurants and pubs, all within a 5 minute walk.
All in all, we would thoroughly recommend "Seaview" if you are visiting Dublin. We are looking forward to our next visit there, and have already made a repeat booking forn the garden apartment for 2018.

Scenic sea views + easy access to village and city
The apartment is ideally situated directly across from Sandymount Strand, a short walk from the center of lovely Sandymount village, which has at least one each of all things needful, including a supermarket, a liquor store, a cafe or two or three, a couple of pubs, a chippy, and several good restaurants. We especially liked Pete's for its excellent pastas--some of the best we've had outside of Italy--and its location right on the village green. There is a bus stop a block away and just around the corner from the apartment for the quick ride into the city. In addition, Sandymount station is only about a kilometer away, with frequent trains into the city or down the coast. The apartment is part of the basement of a large house but is spacious and comfortable, with a pleasant small terrace out back. The kitchen and bathroom are clean and well furnished. We checked ourselves in and out without hassle. Iverna came by a day or two after our arrival to see if we needed anything, and she gave us some good advice about what to see and which restaurants to try (and which to avoid). We enjoyed our stay and recommend the apartment unhesitatingly.
Sandymount: floating between high and low tide
A very nice stay in a comfortable and clean apartment provided of everything that was mentioned in the ad. We have been welcomed by a village atmosphere and by the sense of a real community. Relations with the tennent have been always exact and pleasing. A side note to the beautiful view totally worth the name of "Seaview". Walking on the strand in the morning and looking for shells with low tide...
In the end, something we surely recomend for who is looking for peace, rest and Dublin within a stone's throw.

basement flat was damp smelling and lots of cob webs in corners. luckily my daughter and I were away most of the day and our lovely Host Iverna finally agreed to turn heat on as it was very cold underground.
Nice apartament with a great little garden for the sun.
Great place to stay in a great city!
This spacious apartment is ideally situated in Dublin's most sought after area. Amazingly the city center is just 10 minutes away! Walk along the promenade on Strand Road admire the beautiful views across the sea to Howth and Dun Laoghaire There is nothing like a refreshing walk on the vast beach after a busy day sightseeing in the city, enjoying the cultural delights or shopping . Ideally situated on a bus route the stop is adjacent that will take you to the city centre, Trinity College and O'Connell Street Grafton Street etc .Ideal for sightseeing Close to RDS,o2 arena, Lansdowne Road. UCD. Near DART (urban rail) station and we are on an Aircoach route from Dublin Airport., easy access to M50, Ferry Ports etc. This Irish Tourist Board inspected and approved apartment has its own private entrance, comfortable sitting room/dining room with doors to its own small secure garden. As this is west facing it is a lovely sunny place to have a barbecue or just sit and enjoy the peace.
