Why Iverna Hynes chose Dublin

The sheer size and character of this beautiful house overlooking the vast expanse of Sandymount Strand on Strand Road where the houses (which rarely come on the market) are spacious with gracefully proportioned rooms. Our architect did a magnificent job retaining the feel of a period property yet creating individual separate and totally private apartments on the ground floor of the house which was built in 1898.

What makes this apartment unique

The unique benefits of this property are its fantastic location..In the most sought after Dublin neighbourhood. The large exclusive properties, mostly 18th and 19th century are owned by politicians, lawyers, executives and internationally acclaimed artists and poets! All whom chose this special road because of the fantastic Strand opposite the houses. plus the proximity to the city step and the gorgeous quaint Village Green . Just step across the road to enjoy bracing or cooling walks on the sands and refreshing sea breezes ...Hard to imagine we are only minutes from the very heart of Dublin City!

Just perfect!

The skylights were stunning, the view from the window amazing. We were very comfortable and found every where we wanted to go was easily access from the bus stops very near by. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a wonderful apartment in a great location. The apartment was charming, spotless, filled with light. The bed was very comfortable. I stayed there for a week in June 2015 with my daughter. We made use of the kitchen for breakfast and lunch - shopping at Tesco in the village. Getting to the apartment from the airport was a breeze and we went into the city everyday on the city bus. We enjoyed staying a little outside of the city and mingling with people in a neighborhood outside of the tourist zone. The view from the apartment is wonderful. We enjoyed walking along the strand and felt very comfortable in the neighborhood. The customer service from Iverna and her staff was excellent. Very easy arrangements. I would recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Great location. Cozy flat.

This is a wonderful flat. It is in a great location. Just a short walk to Sandymount and the commuter train. Sandymount has most everything you will need for your state including grocery, restaurants and pubs.

The flat itself is nice and cozy. It has a great bed and super hot shower. Nice view.

Another great stay!

I've now stayed in Iverna's holiday apartments four times in the last 2 1/2 years (twice in the upstairs apartment, twice in the one bedroom downstairs). Her apartments are clean, comfortable, and located in perhaps the prettiest neighborhood in Dublin! The view from the upstairs apartment is stunning, with the ever-changing light and tides on Sandymount Strand. The apartment has wifi, cable, a flat-screen tv, a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of seating, a dining table, a huge king-sized bed, and a sunny bathroom with a skylight over the shower! (Note that there are several granite stairs up to the front door, and then inside a flight of steep, narrow stairs up to the apartment--not a problem unless you have difficulty with stairs.)

The location couldn't be better! You can enjoy glorious walks along the Strand (on the road or on the sand), or a short walk to the village to Tesco, a Dry Cleaners, a craft butcher, the Butler's Pantry (for tasty takeaway), clothing and gift boutiques, two pharmacies, and several great pub and restaurant choices. (Try Dunne and Crescenzi's for a scrumptious breakfast--the best espresso drinks, pastries, and scrambled eggs and Italian bacon!).

Transportation is also convenient. Buses are steps away. The Dart (to take you up and down the coast) is about a 15 minute walk. Cabs are easy to grab in Sandymount Village.

Seaview Holiday Apartments are a perfect place to stay if you want easy accessibility to the city and coast, but prefer to stay in a real Dublin neighborhood. A gorgeous area. I'll be back next year for my fifth visit!

Perfect location for relaxation and exploration!

This apartment was perfect for our first time in Dublin. While it is not in the center of the city, this was better for us. The home is right on a bus line to the city center and the buses are quite frequent. In 10 minutes, you are walking around Trinity College. It is a short walk to the DART so we could explore the whole Dublin coast (and we did!!!). And the village of Sandymount is lovely - great restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc. The apartment is quite large and has a great view of the Irish sea. One day, we were lucky enough to be there while there was a huge beach rugby tournament. In the apartment is an adequate kitchen, nice living room and separate bedroom. Quite a comfortable spot!
