A charming traditionally furnished apartment with open plan living area and log fire and a personal high speed WIFI connection.
It is fitted out with all the personal touches you appreciate on a relaxing holiday including under floor heating, dishwasher, washing machine, 42 inch HD flat screen TV with DVD/blueray player (complete with a library of DVDs). Surround sound home cinema system with bluetooth and i-phone / i-pad connectivity. There are towels and linen provided as well as warm duvets on the beds. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.
Included in the rent is the use of the Chalet des Neiges mini indoor heated swimming pool [perfect for children or for adults to loosen off those tired muscles!], sauna and fitness suite. The complex also includes a ski hire shop and a traditional French restaurant with a south facing terrace for those long lazy lunches.
There is direct access to the main street of Oz en Oisans with various bars, restaurants and shops including a supermarket.
Parking is available close by.
Tourist tax from 1st January 2017 is €0.80 per day (not payable by children). Tourist tax may vary from time to time and is outside of our control.
We purchased this property because we loved the location.
For 9 years it was rented to a management company.
2 years ago we have decided to upgrade the apartment and rent it directly.
We have fitted highspeed WIFI / 42 inch tv / surround sound cinema system / washing machine / extra pictures, mirrors, cushions etc.
We have also upgraded the linen, towels and generally improved the apartment.

A fantastic position in a quiet resort, literally metres from 2 lifts that take you above Alpe D'Huez.
Shops, small supermarket and a range of restaurants are all metres away.
The property manager is Sarah and Roland who live a few km down the hill.
The property is only 8km from Allemont which is on the main Grenoble - Briancon road about 6km before Bourg D'Oisans.
Great apartment, great location, great skiing. There's really nothing else you'd want.
We stayed at apartment Mathilde first week in Feb 2016, it is in a great location, ski in ski out with bars, restaurants and best of all a bakery all within about 50 metres of the front door. So you can have fresh croissants and baguettes every morning before catching the Poutran lift which takes you straight to the Alpe Dhuez ski area. I would definitely recommend this apartment if you want easy access to the two lifts in Oz en Oisans and are happy with a relatively small selection of very good bars and restaurants within walking distance.
This was our accommodation of choice for 5 cyclists on a week long holiday in the Alps. The accommodation is spacious, clean and functional with the bonus of large TV, sound system, washing machine and dishwasher ( a must have for 5 blokes ) !!! The views from the balcony are beautiful and the resort in June was very peaceful. Just be mindful that the resort is closed for maintenance after the ski season and re opens in July so I'm told. This was not an issue for us as we spent the week cycling and spent every evening in neighbouring Bourg D'oisans. Once all the restaurants etc open for the summer the resort is delightful as we stayed here 2 years ago to watch the Tour de France.
Sandrine, who is the contact for the apartment in France was lovely and very helpful, making us feel very welcome and provided us with almost round the clock contact should we need her help or advice.
I would definitely stay here again.

I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough! Very spacious and perfect location - genuine ski in ski out accommodation. Perfectly positioned balcony to get the sun in the evening also. The rooms were spotless and very well appointed with lovely high loft ceilings. The supermarket, patisserie, bars and restaurants are all within about 2 minutes walk from the apartment and the gondolas are pretty much on your doorstep. The apartment manager Sandrine could not have been more helpful - anything we needed was no trouble. This apartment is perfect for families or large groups. We will certainly be back again.
Chalet Mathilde was exactly as described. Ski in ski out. ESF was 10 metres away, nursery 50 metres. Kitchen was well stocked for self catering, and bedrooms comfortable. A great week was had by all.
Apartments are set in the lovely village of Oz en Oisans with access directly onto the ski slopes and within metres of 2 gondolas.
Oz en Oisans is part of the fabulous Alpe D'Huez Grand Rousses ski area. There are 249km of pistes with skiing up to 3,330 metres in altitude. The area boasts the longest black run in Europe (La Sarenne which is 16km long!) as well as a huge amount of other skiing for all levels.
In the summer there is walking, mountain biking, climbing, via ferrata as well as the best road biking you can imagine with a host of famous cols to challenge yourself on!
