Seabiscuit is a find, and Fina is an excellent host and very responsive to all questions. The pictures don't do it justice. It is just so pretty, quiet and peaceful there. Having breakfast on the large deck every morning was one of my favorite activities. The place was very clean and outfitted with toiletries in case you forgot anything like sunscreen. I only wish that Exuma had a recycling program. I tried fitting our plastics and bottles into our luggage, but could not, so had to leave them there. Felt wrong to leave behind waste at such a beautiful place. I would recommend Seabiscuit to anyone, and we might consider going back.
What a quaint and peaceful spot. My husband and I stayed here for 4 days. Well worth it. This cottage is exactly as it shows in the pictures. Actually, the view is even nicer in person. Its hard to capture just how beautiful this spot is. You definitely need a car. We had a small car and it was fine, you just have to drive slow over the large pot holes in the road. Close to Georgetown...perhaps 10 minutes away. Its quiet here, peaceful and private. For the price, I really can't complain about anything.
My husband and I stayed at Seabiscuit from November 4th - 18th of 2015. Our stay was absolutely incredible! Fina makes her home so welcoming. Waking up to the view makes you feel like you are in a dream. The view is so vast that you can see the sunrise and sunset. There are small islands about a mile away in front of her place that you can use her kayaks to get there. My husband and I would be the only 2 people on these islands...it was amazing! At low tide you can walk on the sandbar out in front of Fina's place and it truly feels like you have found Heaven on Earth. Fina even gives you a list of restaurants to visit and things to do which is extremely helpful. I do highly recommend renting an SUV as the roads are bumpy. We did so many things that Fina recommends on the island. You can be very adventurous if you want to, or you can spend your time at the cottage taking in the gorgeous views and using Fina's kayaks and snorkel gear. Fina gave my husband and I the most wonderful gift of peace and tranquility. I HIGHLY recommend this wonderful cottage and all that Great Exuma has to offer. My husband and I will be back! Thank you, Fina, for the most amazing vacation!
We visited in September 2015 and Fina your place was spectacular. From the outdoor shower, swimming off the dock au natural (at times). You must do this....what a feeling of freedom. The location right on the bonefish flats is serene and not once did we see or hear any boats screaming by on the ocean. Only one day did we see paddle boarders go by. The place was perfect for the two of us celebrating our honeymoon. During our stay we swam with the pigs, met locals and ate at several local restaurants including Stocking Island. The locals from the island were extremely friendly. The roads are bumpy, but manageable just take your time. Loved the beaches as well, where most days we were the only ones for the entire day. Fina thank you so much and we hope to return one day. Communication with you leading up to our honeymoon was A+++++ as we had several questions which you answered promptly and put us at ease. The cottage is perfectly stocked with all things needed to cook if you are so inclined. Thank you for opening up your cottage to us. Owners such as yourself make using VRBO a perfect fit for those looking to "rent" away from traditional hotels.

We loved our stay at Seabiscuit. Peaceful, beautiful and homey. The water, the dock it was all great. The outdoor shower ROCKED.
Loved Seabiscuit! We had a wonderful stay the home was clean and well cared for. Recommend getting an SUV or 4 WD as the roads where the home is located are full of large craters. We made use of the kayaks and the snorkeling equipment. Our flight was cancelled the day we were to leave and we were forced to rent another house for a night... Let me just say Fina's place was so much nicer! I would definitely stay at Seabiscuit again!
Just a 10 min drive into town this location offers spectacular sea, sunset, sandbar, and wildlife views. Enjoy boating, swimming, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing and more. Great Exuma also offers a 4 Seasons resort where you can dine, spa, golf and play tennis. The island is a gem. You will not regret visiting and will want to come back yearly!
