About Bo Stjernström
A couple in their 50s living and working in the city. We stay in the house as often as we can to experience the calm on Österlen and enjoy everything it has to offer.
Bo Stjernström purchased this Villa in 2009
Why Bo Stjernström chose Simrishamn N
The dream is of the white polished stone house on Österlen with own apple growing where we can retire to when we get older.
What makes this Villa unique
To be able to stand in the kitchen a winter morning with a hot cup of coffee and look out on snow covered apple trees is an unbeatable view, to then throw a new log in the stove. Equally on a warm summer night where you can sit outside all evening and enjoy the quiet and the nature you are surrounded by. An early morning dip on Stenshuvud beach where you in peace and quiet often have the beach for yourselves. A bike ride to the restaurant Friden which is a must to visit, equally the ecological garden Dalängarna which is only a stone's throw away and every morning offers stone baked bread. Close to Kivik and its wonderful port with the fish store Buhres which is much liked. Close to Kivik's juice factory.

This was my wife and I's first holiday in Skåne, Sweden and we really enjoyed our holiday - our aims were to relax, enjoy the countryside, walks and wild life. Villa Hedåsa is a nice property, well located amongst an apple orchard, where we'd often see Red Kites flying overhead. It is also very close by to Stenshuvud National Park and we also enjoyed trips to Söderåsen national park, Dalby Söderskog, Kristianstads Vattenrike eco park & the stone circle at Ales Stenar. Getting to the property from the UK was a simple case of flying to Copenhagen, and then a short 1.5 hour drive (by hirecar). We ate out several times, but one thing we hadn't appreciated before hand, was that in May most restaurants are not open in the evening during the week; not a problem since we were self-catering - just useful to know. We enjoyed eating at all the places we visited - so can recommend: Cafe Strand Kivik, Franskans Creperie, Friden (pizzeria), the cafe at Svabesholms Kungsgård (lovely scones!), Café & Bistro i Kåseberga, and the restaurant at Söderåsen national park.
Bostadsbeskrivningen stämde väl överens med verkligheten. Det var ett charmigt hus där man kunde koppla av och njuta av lugnet. Kan varmt rekommendera detta boende och det var ett bra boende för oss som barnfamilj.
Connecting to the Stenshuvud National Park of great natural beauty and has a beach and forest in close vicinity.
Villa Hedåsa is secluded and surrounded by its own apple cultivation. There are no neighbors in direct connection. Close to Österlen's art, food experiences and nature experiences.
