Red Hawk Lodge is one of the most desirable properties in River Run. Walk just 100 yards to the high-speed gondola for winter skiing, spring and summer picnics, or autumn leaf viewing. A short stroll also takes you to the numerous shops, festivals, and restaurants in River Run Village. (Yes, there is a Starbucks!)

If solitude is more your speed, you will appreciate the peaceful setting of this Red Hawk Lodge condominium. This is a top floor, unit with vaulted ceilings. The spa and pool area borders pristine wetlands at the foot of the mountain, adjacent to a paved hiking/biking trail, which connects all of Keystone's villages. The property also boasts a fitness center and private ski lockers.

This two-bedroom, two-bath unit with a pull-out living room sofa comfortably sleeps six.

Our property is perfect for those of you who love skiing and the outdoors, who want to be close to the action but away from the noise, and who appreciate fine accommodations and amenities for an affordable price.

About Owner/Manager

We are a professional couple in our 40s and reside in Denver. We have two children, Alexander (11) and Olivia (9). Our son began skiing at the age of 2, and our daughter started five years ago. We take great pride in our second home and love sharing our property with guests who appreciate it as much as we do.

Owner/Manager purchased this condo in 2005

Why Owner/Manager chose Summit County Colorado

We originally looked at properties at Breckenridge but fell in love with our condo at first sight. It is a top floor unit with great views and nice finishes. It is perfect for a couple or small family. Best of all, Keystone offers a plethora of activities and is kid friendly. And, with two small children, it was very important for us to be able to get on and off the mountain quickly. Since it's a quick drive from Denver, quiet yet close to the village, convenient, and amenity-rich, we just couldn't imagine ourselves anywhere else.

Nice location. Minor maintenance issues.

In Town for wedding.

We stayed (two adult couples) at this condo from 2-10 thru 2-12. Liked the location which is close to shops, restaurants and the gondola. We did not ski. The unit was comfortable for a party of four. However there were some minor maintenance issues at the unit. Specifically toilet seats were stained and need to be replaced. Kitchen faucet was dripping, master bath vanity faucet is loose and needs to be tightened. Bed linens are old with holes in sheets and bedspread. On another note it would be nice to have a larger bed in the guest bedroom. A little small for two adults. There was also an annoying sound in the guest bedroom. Not sure what the source was. I have rented several units thru VRBO with similar ratings and I don't think this unit stacked up to those.

Welcoming Retreat

My family and I (3 people)had a delightful stay. The unit is just like the photos online. It was very clean and had all the things we needed. We made breakfast each day. Getting to the slopes was quick and easy. Keeping our skis downstairs in the lockers was convenient. Walking to the nearby village with shops and restaurants was quick. It was nice having our building away from the village just a little bit. It was very quiet. The whole reservation process went smoothly as well as checking in/out of our unit. We were fortunate to be able to enter our unit a little early, drop off our luggage and go get our ski rentals. This allowed us more time to explore the village and have dinner. We really enjoyed the Keystone Resort area. It was a relatively easy drive from Denver. We would highly recommend staying in this particular unit for it's updated style, cleanliness, comfort, lovely view, convenience to gondola/slopes/village and quiet surroundings.

Amazing Stay!

This condo was absolutely perfect for 4 skiers in January! We walked to the slopes every morning and could come back to the condo for lunch easily before going back out. We loved the view from the living room! This condo is perfect!

Great location, great space.

Overall it was a great space and location. Very clean, up to date and walking distance to River Run. My only suggestion would be to have directions that are more clear for the key and parking. Being from Colorado we know the area well, but still had a hard time with the directions given. Highly recommend for anyone.

Rocky Mountain Retreat

We loved our stay in Kim's condo in Keystone. Everything was as advertised - great views of the mountains, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, very nice pool and spa - an overall terrific place! The location was central to all of the fall color drives we took, and close to restaurants and shopping.

Heartfelt Thanks

This isn't going to be your ordinary review. My wife and I had planned our Colorado vacation to stay here in Keystone for many months. As life is unpredictable, she developed non-Hodgkins' Lymphoma. After many doctors' visits and lab tests, etc., it was necessary to begin her chemotherapy one week before our scheduled arrival. I called Kim and explained the situation to her. Could she have said "You signed a statement that the deposit is nonrefundable this close to your reservation"? Instead, she said no problem, just help your wife get well and immediately refunded our payment. We selected this particular unit because it was beautiful. Little did we know how beautiful the owners would be too. If you looking for a place to stay in Keystone, this place has more character than any you will ever find. We are very thankful for people like this in our world.
