Set in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. A quaint cottage which has just been renovated for the 2014 season. There is an old fashioned court yard on one side looking out onto a typical farmyard scene, with ducks, chickens, pigs and the occasional horse's head looking over the stable door.
On the other side of the cottage is a dog/child proof garden and patio which is perfect for the evening sun and that glass of wine....
The local pub is within walking distance and the nearest shops just 5 minutes in the car.
The cottage includes a cosy lounge with leather furniture and a bistro coffee table. The french doors open out onto the patio and garden. The kitchen is fully appointed and looks out onto the courtyard
Take the classic wooden stairs to the beamed bedroom which is beautifully furnished with a two very comfortable double beds.
Luxury fully tiled en-suite shower-room, Window with wonderful view of the Oxfordshire countryside.
Doug and Pauline look forward to giving you a royal welcome to our beautiful little cottage where we promise to leave you alone to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the stunning Oxfordshire countryside.

This cottage is tucked away off the beaten track but is also within just over an hour of Birmingham and London.
You will love the rural feel of Stable Cottage with the chickens and ducks, pigs and horses. Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine in the private garden or if you are feeling really brave walk down to the river for a quick dip.
The location is amazing, just the most beautiful views. The actual house is perfectly done up, so welcoming and a really good use of the space. We stayed for a weekend and we was so pleased with it all, the shower was brilliant and generally all the facilities are faultless. We would love to go again, a really great last minute getaway.
A very pleasant stay in this cosy cottage. We arrived in late December to very cold but crisp weather which allowed us and our dogs to take some pretty walks through frosty fields. If you like horse racing, the cottage is ideally suited to view some lovely horses in their stables!
My only criticism was that the heating was off when we arrived, so we were freezing until it 'kicked in'.
All in all, I would recommend this cottage.
We received a very warm welcome to a lovely property. The cottage is beautifully situated, very quiet, and surrounded by open fields and woods. We particularly appreciated the footpaths which pass the cottage allowing us to do some lovely walks without using the car. The garden and the cottage itself are very dog friendly - an enclosed garden and a stairgate - which made our stay very relaxed and easy. We were astonished at the size of the TV - a real luxury - and the cottage was very well equipped and maintained. (A microwave has now been provided - next time I can have my instant porridge - and my wife would have appreciated another mirror upstairs).
