Beautiful mountain and lake views from this secluded, luxury cabin! Serenity Hill Cabin sits high upon a 1.92 acre lot, offering breathtaking views of English Mountain and the main channel of Douglas Lake.
The cabin is tastefully decorated with Thomas Kincaid prints adorning the walls. The large game room in the loft has air hockey, foosball, and electronic darts. The large wrap-around deck offers views from three sides.
If you're looking for action, take the back road into the heart of Sevierville (20 miles), the back door into Dollywood (28 miles) or the scenic route to light #3 in Gatlinburg (38 miles). These back roads are really beautiful...kind of like Cades Cove without the bumper to bumper traffic! Or, jump on I-40 (5 miles) and you can be in Asheville in about an hour.
You might just want to stay at the cabin and relax...a lot of our guests do. Even if they do get out, they like to make it back in time to watch the sunset over the lake. That's also a good time to spot some white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, a red fox or two, and maybe even a bald eagle. If that's what you want to do, make sure you stop at Super Wal-Mart or Food Lion on the way in (10 miles) and grab some stuff for the gas grill.
No matter what you like to do, Serenity Hill Cabin has a lot more to offer than just a comfortable stay, terrific views, and exciting things to see and do. It also offers peace and serenity. Isn’t that really what a vacation is all about?

Hi, We're Greg & Belinda. We live in northern Indiana, about 10 miles from the southern tip of Lake Michigan. We've lived here all our lives, but yearn for the day when we can retire to our cabin in the mountains. In the meantime, we'll be renting it out to nice folks like you, so that you can enjoy it, too! (You’ve only got a few years left to enjoy it, so you might want to book soon!…and often! ;-)
We searched many years for the perfect place to call home, and it was quite an experience!
We are empty-nesters at the moment (ya never know when one might come back home!), and spend almost all of our vacation time working at the cabin. It's a labor of love, so we don't mind at all. We do it to ensure our guests have a wonderful time during THEIR vacations. (It’s funny, because every time we shop, we find ourselves saying, “That would look GREAT in the cabin.” So we buy stuff for the cabin and our home in Indiana gets the cabin hand-me-downs. But that’s OK, because it’s all good quality stuff.)
Anyway, now that you kind of know who we are and what we live for, we hope you’ll visit the cabin and see what we’re so excited about. The views alone are worth the trip!
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2002
Divine Intervention? I don't know. You can read about how we stumbled across this property (after looking at HUNDREDS of lots over a 2-year period) by checking out our personal website and draw your own conclusion. All we know is that this was THE property for us.
Greg & Belinda – There has been so many terrific words that have already been said regarding your wonderful place & I “ditto” them all! Like we spoke about, you have truly been blessed with this great place & we are so, so blessed that you want to share it with ALL of us… Enjoyed it tremendously!!God Bless,Becky The eagle was soaring out here yesterday. What a sight…lovely.
Picturesque, quiet, and with all the comforts of home - and more. This charming log cabin with a private dock on the lake was a wonderful setting for a two couple vacation. Our son brought his sailing dinghy which was perfect for the lake with it's consistent breezes, and we brought a small inflatable to putter around only a small portion of the numerous and glorious coves. Needless to say, the time flew, but fortunately the memories are here to stay!
My husband and I spent several days in this cabin. Location is perfect...stunning views, peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to PF/Gatlinburg. The property is spotless clean, stocked with all the basics, and then some. Kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed our meals on the screened in porch, which was sooo nice! I've stayed in many cabins in the area and this one is my favorite! The owners pay such specific attention to detail to ensure you have a relaxing and convenient stay. So thoughtful.
We take a road trip with friends every year and found your cabin in our search for this year's trip. Your cabin is just beautiful, as are the views. We had a great time. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies. The instructions are easy and helpful. :) Had lots of fun with the games and hiking around the area. Will have to make a trip in warmer weather to try out the hot tub, but we did enjoy steaks on the grill. It is just the right distance from many attractions to make it easy to choose what to do yet not be caught up in the traffic of the heavy tourist area. We hope to come back again. (We especially enjoy reading the info and your website--your sense of humor is fabulous!)
This is a beautiful cabin on an incredible
site with views of the Smoky Mountains and
Douglas Lake. This property has everything
you need for a restful getaway. If you
want to get away from it all, we recommend
Was this cabin worth an 11 hour drive from the Twin Cities...yes,yes,yes!We were blessed to stay eight nights at Serenity Hill Cabin the first week of October and we keep remarking that it was one of our most wonderful vacations.
Words almost fail as to how lovely this property truly is...from the decorating and landscaping to the vistas of the lake and the mountains. From our first contact with Greg and Belinda we knew that we had made the right decision in choosing Serenity Hill Cabin.Everything was professionally handled from the web site, the reservation process, all of the helpful hints.
We also were blessed to renew our wedding vows(12 years of marriage)in such a gorgeous setting in front of the fireplace with lots of pictures taken outside.
Our prayer,Greg and Belinda is that as you have refreshed others our Lord will refresh the both of you.
Again,our deepest appreciation.

The pictures do not do justice to this wonderful home. I call it a "home" instead of a rental cabin, because while you are staying there, you truly do feel "at home". We happened to stay during the fall, and the extra little decorating touches, from the pumpkins, floral arrangements, and decorations by the front door were so charming! Although it rained during our ENTIRE vacation, Serenity Hill provided a wonderful refuge from every day life. Sitting in the outdoor hot tub on the screened in porch while listening to the rain fall softly on the leaves in the tree tops was so relaxing! Must make lemonade out of lemons! The fireplace is great, warm and cozy. The cabin is spotless, has everything you can think of for your use, including a washer and dryer! You don't have to bring so many clothes and that will surely lighten your load. The lake was low at this time of year, but it was still beautiful and a few mornings, I got to see a heron standing in the water. Greg and Belinda, the owners, work so hard to make this place wonderful and they truly accomplish this in every way. Greg is so helpful with suggestions, directions, restaurant reviews and funny stories! The web site is very helpful and informative. The cabin is pretty centrally located too - not too far from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Seiverville, the Biltmore Estate in NC, rafting, boating, etc. I don't think you will go wrong picking Serenity Hill for your next getaway!
