Guestbook comments from the manager

Hello Judith and John,

I wanted to tell you that we really enjoyed our family vacation in your beautiful home.

It was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was very relaxing and quiet

which gave us some really enjoyable family time. Our puppy loved the canoe as well

and the large yard of course.

Thank you so much!!!

Awesome Maine property Summer and Winter.

  • 5 of 5

Loved spending time with my family at this very comfortable and hidden gem close to Sugarloaf. We skied the Loaf, but also snowshoed, cross country skied on the trails at the nearby Bigelow Preserve and right on the lake in front of the house. The hearth stone wood stove was cranking great heat to enjoy the meals and game night with the kids. Three car garages made it easy to pack and unpack. Definitely, heading back for more winter getaways and can't wait to enjoy the water access this summer.

Nice lakeside property with beautiful views!

  • 4 of 5

The house was clean and well equipped. The open floor plan (no doors on two of the bedrooms) and the computer equipment in the bunk room was a bit challenging with toddlers, however!!

Beautiful home, beautiful views. Great weekend.

  • 5 of 5

This was a great find. Cheryl was more than quick with responses, and the home and views are as nice as the pictures. There is so much space inside, and the lawn is absolutely enormous. The house has good wifi, and the garage was a perfect place to go in and cool down.

The peacefulness of this property was amazing. It is located on a dead end road, and we only saw 6-10 cars pass back and fourth the entire time we were here. Neighbors are a good length away - none in sight.

The view of the lake and the sugarloaf ski slopes in the background was awesome. We couldn't have chosen a better spot.

This trip consisted of myself and 5 other adults. We had more than enough space and it accommodated every one of our needs. Would book with Cheryl and this property again undoubtedly.

A beautiful spot!! Very clean and well maintained

  • 4 of 5

We arrived after dark on a bitter cold evening. The lights were on and welcoming and the house was warm. Very open and spacious. Less than 10 miles to Sugarloaf which allowed for family to come and go easily. Only issue we had was limited hot water but once we figured it out, we had it! We would visit again.

Private with great views!

  • 5 of 5

The manager Cheryl was very nice and was quick to solve any issues we had. The house is large, clean and well appointed with everything you need. Flagstaff Lake is perfect for canoeing, kayaking with lots of areas to explore. Unfortunately not a great fishing lake if that's your thing- but other places around the area are good. Plenty of places to hike & bicycle also. Keep your eyes out for moose- we saw 4 in the area. The gazebo is nice to sip drinks & read bug free! Our dogs loved the big yard and easy access to water. Thank you for the use of your home!

We also have a large yard which connects to snowmobile trails or use the lake for snowshoeing in the winter. You are approximately 20 minutes away from the Canadian Border. If you want privacy, this is the home for you. This house sits off the main road and overlooks Flagstaff Lake with Sugarloaf Mountain in the back ground.
