|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
This 2-bedroom, 5-person house has everything a couple or family would need for the perfect escape. The villa has a private pool and a terrace with spectacular views of Sóller. It also offers some great views of the Tramuntana mountains. The bedrooms have air conditioning, and the kitchen is well-equipped and modern (electric oven, microwave, coffee maker, etc.). This makes it ideal for having a meal at home; whether in the interior dining area, on the patio just outside the kitchen or outdoors next to the pool. You might enjoy having breakfast in the morning sun at the house's stone terrace (during summer, sunshine generally appears around 9 am). The living room is well-lit and has a large and comfortable L-shaped couch and a 40-inch LCD television. The latter is fitted with a USB port, so you can bring some of your own films if you want. A DVD player and a selection of DVDs are also available for you to enjoy. An open-plan bedroom also has cold and hot water, air conditioning and a lovely stove for the colder months. Behind the house there is an ample space for drying your laundry.
It is a very central location: a supermarket is just a couple of metres away, as is the famous Sóller square. There you can take the old train to the harbour or to Palma via a beautiful railway trip through the mountains. A car is not necessary if you want to spend your holidays in town, because everything is nearby.
We really enjoyed our week in this very lovely casita. Despite other properties close by, we found it to be very quiet. The pool provided welcome relief from the hot weather.
The property is well equipped and for two of us an ideal size. The second bedroom, being bunk beds would be fine for children. The garage parking was very convenient.
The walk into town takes about 15 minutes and it really isn't worth taking the
car. There are plenty of restaurants in the main square but we particularly enjoyed the food at Luna 36 which is in La Luna close to centre.
From here it is easy to visit Port de Soller, Deyá and Valldemossa and of course you can take the train to Palma.
Finally, Mar was extremely helpful, friendly and available if needed.
This house is in a very quiet location, yet only 10 minutes walk away from the town centre. The supermarket is just round the corner, which was very handy as it was rather hot at the time of our stay. The swimming pool was lovely and our 4 year old enjoyed it very much. We didn't rent a car as everything was near by. All in all this house is a great place to stay if you are after a relaxing holiday in a very traditional Mallorcan town.
This house is beautiful, perfect for a couple.
Mar was very helpful and we had everything we needed. The pool was so welcome as it was 40 degrees every day and the aircon was invaluable. It's more than 5 minutes walk into town so we took the car but parking in Soller was difficult. Beware of the blue parking spaces, they need a pay and display ticket but we didn't see any parking machines and ended up with an 80 euro fine! I would really recommend this house, it was quite lovely and we would definitely go back again. Thank you Mar. x
Far better than we expected
Perfect for a couple or small family .
Cannot find anything to fault
Furnished to a high standard
Private yet only 5 mins walk from town centre and tram stop down to port soller. Spar supermarket 2 mins away
Lovely pool patio
Mar is on hand if you need any assistance
In all so good I even considered asking how much to purchase the property !
Will definitely return
We found the villa perfect for the two of us. Location perfect 10 minute leisurely stroll to the square in Soller, a small Spar and local bar few minutes away for essentials. Pool ideal for cooling off in the hot sun. Villa very clean. Nice quiet location but not far away from centre of Soller. Soller is very typical Majorcian little cobbled streets, blonde stone buildings and each day you discover another little street with a little restaurant or tapa bar. Loved the tram to Puerto Soller which is gorgeous, plenty of restaurants all round the bay, nice beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, not a sign of tack or loudmouths anywhere just what we wanted so if you are looking for mad wild nightlife not for you. You can get bus in Soller to take you to Valldemosa which is a must and buses to take you to little villages nearby. Go on the orange express the old train to Palma for the day and get the bus back at night. We will definetly be back, Mar the Property Manager is lovely and her mother who brought us fabulous fresh oranges to squeeze for our breakfast each morning, thank you.
Considering we were the first occupants of the charming new build property, we were both surprised and delighted with the house and its facilities.
The villa is ideal for a couple or family with young children, our only criticism was that bathroom is rather small.
Only 10 mins walk from all the shops, bars and lovely restaurants of Soller, it is ideally placed to explore the surrounding countryside as well as the vibrant port a short drive or tram trip away.
Mar who is the manager was excellent, and couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed.
This is one of the most beautiful and picturesque corners of Mallorca: a valley of orange and olive trees that is flanked by the highest mountaintops of the island, yet bathed by the Mediterranean waters. It is a place with lots of history to discover, exquisite cuisine to taste, and natural surroundings to enjoy with a huge variety of activities.
Sun and beach.
Puerto de Sóller is about 4 km away, and is reached by travelling into the past in an early 20th-century tram. However as it is the the only bay on the island's north coast, Puerto de Sóller offers all kinds of services: there are restaurants with terraces whose view extends to the horizon and a variety of water activities. This way you can enjoy everything that we put at your disposal to the fullest.
Only a few kilometres away lies the village of Fornalutx: it is considered one of the most unique in Spain for its beauty, its numerous cobbled staircases that cross the old houses, and the orange tree gardens that surround the town. Closer to Sóller lies Biniaraix, a hamlet with the same style and charm as the one we just mentioned. Following the road bordering the coast, we arrive at Deià: throughout its history it has been a pilgrimage spot for artists, musicians and writers. People such as Robert Graves and William Waldren, among many others, found a place of peace and a beautiful landscape here.
The mountain range that surrounds us is crossed by lots of trails, zigzagging through thick oak and pine woods and thus giving travellers the oportunity to contemplate some incredible landscapes that never lose their view of the sea. The Barranc de Biniaraix is a unique engineering masterpiece that challenges the steep geographical profile it traverses, making it one of those enclaves one should not leave unvisited.
Sóller and its harbour offer a great number of open-air activities to visitors: various cycling (both road and off-road) tracks, tennis or paddling, all of which have plenty of fans here. Golf lovers can practice their skills on the nearest course, which is located 15 minutes away from the village. And of course, there are lots of water sports such as sailing and scuba diving, among others.
Car: not necessary
Sóller has a lot to offer thanks to its privileged location in the Tramuntana mountains. There are excursions to the numerous mountain peaks of the Sierra or the impressive steep coasts, but also easy walks in the orange garden valleys or along the sea shore.
Those who love watersports have a lot of options. However, golf, horseback riding, mountainbiking, scuba diving or fishing are also options. Those looking for a more relaxed stay can enjoy the sun and a dip into the sea at the Puerto de Sóller beaches.
During your stay in Sóller you will notice that exploring other villages and towns of the mountain range is very easy and pleasant, as are discovering hidden coves or staying a day at the seafront. You can finish the day with a relaxing sunset stroll along the bay, or on a terrace having a tasteful dinner in whatever restaurant, bar or café in the Sóller harbour or city centre.
