The house was adorable! ( the beds were not very comfortable though, too soft)
The area was beautiful and plenty of things to do especially for kids
We did have an issue with bees and left a little early because they were coming into the house.
Lindsay was very accommodating and friendly
I was sorry to leave. Would have stayed longer !
Cabin was clean & cozy. There were deer everywhere. Very relaxing. Close to downtown Ellijay.
Clean cozy cabin, many deer, pool, close to downtown
Nice cozy place to get away
Peaceful, relaxing, quiet, everything we needed to just get away for the weekend! We just lost our oldest daughter to a tragic accident and we needed to disconnect. This place was exactly what we needed!
Enjoyed our stay, except for the beds
The 2 bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) each had doors opening onto a back deck. The beds were very uncomfortable. Both bathrooms (upstairs and down) were very large with double sinks. The full size washer and dryer were located in the downstairs bathroom. The downstairs bedroom closet was locked, and there was nowhere downstairs to hang up our clothes, except on a couple of hooks in the bathroom. The appliances in the kitchen were very nice, especially the refrigerator, which had water and ice dispensers on the door. We enjoyed using the gas fireplace in the evening. There was seating, including a porch swing, on the front porch. The neighborhood was quiet, but it was in a gated community, where we had to give our name at the gate each time we entered. To register for the community, we also had to pay a $39 fee, which was not listed in the fees we saw on the HomeAway site. We had to drive several curvy and hilly roads after entering the community. I would not recommend trying to find this home after dark. When we arrived, there were no outside lights on. The porch was very dark, and the stairs are quite steep. We had to find the lock box on the front porch, which contained a key. It would have been nicer had there been a code panel on the front door, like the other homes we have rented. Fortunately, we did have a flashlight. This home was beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities one could want. There is plenty of room for a family, as there are two queen size beds in the bedrooms and 2 bunk beds upstairs in the loft area, which overlooks the kitchen and living room areas.
