This is our favourite spot on the Earth being half Norwegian half Danish family we love the Mountains, the snow , skiing and the cosy Wood log atmosphere of Trysil.
Jannik Boberg-Ans purchased this cabin in 2002
This property we have chosen because the location is sunny.
Not al houses in Trysil have got the sun all year round, and because the house is in over 900 m height there is always the best chance for fresh and unspoiled snow.
It is easy to walk unto the huge area of open mountain land, to do cross country skiing , mountaining, hiking or even Kite skiing.
There is a beautiful nature to be explored with all the wild life , although of cause in the winther , the big attraction is skisport.
Fishing, hunting and wild life can be enjoyed in the other month of the year. And there are also white water sports and golf in the summer.
The wonderful quiet atmosphere and nature is unique. To ski in moonlight and to experience the NORDLIGHT is fantastic. Trysil have night slalom as well some days a week.
We were three families (6 adults and 6 children 1-8 years old).
We had a very cozy holiday i this well furnished skicabin.
The room distribution was fine and we had enough space for everybody.
We brought childrens beds and high chairs for the children our selves, but it would of course be nice, if it was a part of the interior.
The house was very cozy and well planed. We were nine persons and that worked very well. Very functional with separate showers and toilets when your are many. Beautiful surroundings and close to ski slopes and cross-country trails. Everything went smoth and exceeded our expectations. I can highly recomend this place.

Well thought-out, very family-friendly, modern all descriptive catchphrases for Trysil as a ski destination. Everything has been built around Trysilfjellet, where wide, long slopes snake down the sides of the mountain and continue below the tree line.
Trysil comprises four interconnected ski areas, all with their own unique characteristics. From the black slopes in Høgegga to the red, blue and green slopes at Skihytta, Trysil Turistsenter and Trysil Høyfjellssenter. Large children's areas on both sides of the mountain - where snowman Valle is the children's best friend - ensure a good skiing experience for the whole family.
In Trysil you can choose between:
71 kilometer pistes
More than 180 km cross country
3 children´s areas
Snowparks for all levels
Arenas for cross, speedtest, racing, slalom etc.
7-8 km to Trysil town with supermarkets, gas station, medical / hospital clinic, bank and all facility.
The roads are kept open constantly, snow plough preparation and a Skibus service provides excellent connection.
The area is very child friendly, and safe.
The house is very cosy with fireplace, wood log atmosphere.
Sauna and bathrooms function very well even with full 10 persons in the house.
