This beautiful detached house is situated directly by the Mosel. The entire top floor is furnished as a comfortable holiday apartment. It's the ideal location for an exploration of the Mosel as the house lies directly at its banks. There is a large sports park right by the front door.

The well-known Moezelradweg (cycling route) and the Moselsteig (the long-distant footpath) pass by this holiday home.

Neumagen-Dhron is Germany's oldest wine village and has approx. 2,600 inhabitants. A lot of references to the Roman age can still be found in this picturesque village. There are various tours that take you along the nicest spots and all interesting sights. An absolute must is a trip over the Mosel with the gorgeous reconstruction of a wooden wine ship from the Roman age. The village has many good restaurants and other catering facilities because of the many tourists who visit Neumagen.

From here, you can take trips to the old Roman town of Trier (38 km), where you can take a bike bus for the return trip if you go by bike. Or you can opt for the small but extremely idyllic town of Bern Kastel Keus (25 km).

Anne and Gerd were wonderful hosts who were knowledgeable about the local area. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and spacious with the whole top floor to ourselves. The property is mid Mosel so plenty to visit with Cochem, Koblenz, Luxembourg and Trier all within easy driving distance. Would definitely go back as it was a great base to operate from

Anne and Gerd, were really helpful. They had put a few essential items in the fridge for our arrival. There were fresh cut flowers and fruit in the bowl. We have been to this area many times but Anne and Gerd gave us different place suggestions. We had a great time relaxing and recharging the batteries. Hosts were there when needed. Between us language was not a problem. Fantastic

Bij aankomst een zeer hartelijke ontvangst, een prima rondleiding en uitleg gehad. Koelkast was voorzien van een aantal frisdranken (gratis) Verhuurders zeer behulpzaam. Een comfortabel appartement met een mooi uitzicht. Een schitterende omgeving, met gezellige stadjes en dorpen. Boulevard van Neumagen leuke terrassen en prima restaurants. Na een gezellig afscheid een fles witte wijn meegekregen. Kortom een fantastische vakantie gehad.
