Loved the place--what a luxurious treat!

  • 5 of 5

Dear Linda,

We loved staying at your place from December 20-24,2008!!

I can't imagine a better greeting than the soft music playing, the lights on, and all waiting for us at the casita when we arrived late late late on 12/20. What a great continuation of a "relationship" that promised to be spectacular from the first time I connected with you via email and website.

I am so sorry that we didn't invite you in to lounge with us that morning you called and wanted to meet us but we were in our PJs and declined--in hindsight, we should have leapt at the opportunity to meet you and thank you in person. But unfortunately hindsight is clearer than "in the moment" sight, and we didn't. I am so sorry now that we didn't take advantage of your on-site and in-person hospitality and thus missed the chance to meet you.

We loved loved loved your place! It was beautifully decorated, every piece of the furniture was comfortable, it was exquisitely equipped, and there were signs of special touches and thoughtfulness absolutely everywhere! I loved greeting the person who shovelled our driveway and sidewalk, since it was such an over-the-top and pleasant service. By the time the shovelling was needed, I should have known that such thoughtful service was simply "standard fare" in your book--such touches were clear throughout our stay. But they were still astounding and very much appreciated.

Happy 2009 to you and (belated but not insincere by any stretch of the imagination) THANKS!!!!

Tracey and Aaron

P.S. Particularly loved the Linda + Tim imprint in the driveway cement--how utterly charming!!!!!!!!

Perfect home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

This home was the perfect place for our family of 4. It was clean and well maintained and walking distance to the Plaza and many delicious restaurants in Santa Fe. It was a quiet neighborhood and had the cutest little private backyard space. We also enjoyed the personal touches that the owner, Linda, provided. There was a bottle of wine and the fridge was stocked with a few basics to jump start the morning (eggs, bread, butter, coffee!). Thanks Linda!

Lovely Adobe

  • 5 of 5

Linda's adobe was perfect. The set up was just as described with plenty of room for the four us (myself, my husband and our 2 young adult children). It is beautifully furnished with a lot of really nice SW art and pottery. We enjoyed sitting out on the out door patio. When we arrived we found it stocked with some basics which was really appreciated, as well as a bottle of wine. My husband particularly appreciated the easy parking.

We enjoyed the proximity to the Plaza, about a 10 minute walk. It was so easy to walk there but we really enjoyed being able to escape the business of the plaza in our peaceful adobe.

This was our first time in Santa Fe and we LOVED it. Highlights were the Georgia O' Keefe Museum, the Museum of Native American Modern Art, Meow wolf (a relatively new bizarre participatory art experience that the kids really enjoyed!), a day trip to the Taos pueblo and a hike in the mountains...and of course endless shopping.

Memorable meals at the Shed and Hotel La Fonda.

Thanks so much Linda, we hope to be back!

Mother/Son retreat

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect spot for my adult son and me to have our first ever SanteFe experience! Perfectly located between the rail yards and the Plaza - our two points of interest. Walking to both was easy, pleasant, and convenient.

Linda communicated beautifully about our late ( midnight ) arrival. The coffee, fruit, eggs, breads supplied for our breakfast were most appreciated after the late arrival and were generous enough to last all 3 mornings of our stay.

The cottage is a wonderful layout for gathering as well as time to be alone. The patio is perfect for quiet morning coffee and reflection.

While we didn't need any assistance, knowing the owners were just next door was a real comfort. Linda, emailed during our stay to offer any assistance needed.

And who is not to appreciate a complimentary bottle of nice wine!

Thank you, Linda!

We loved this little home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

The location was perfect for walking into town--after our long drive we were so happy not to get back in the car. Everything was immaculate and beautifully furnished--I slept better on the king sized Puregel mattress than I do at home. I want one! Linda told us about another great thing not to be missed--Meow Wolf. Santa Fe is their first permanent exhibit and it will be enjoyed by all for quite some time. We shopped at Whole Foods and prepared our breakfasts and lunches at "home" and treated ourselves to yummy regional dinners out at night. The galley kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We brought our bikes and locked them outside on the back fenced- in patio, which was sunny and sweet--the flower bulbs were just popping up. We'll come back for Spring Break again--very soon I hope!

Charming Casa

  • 5 of 5

Lovely casa a short walk from the plaza. Includes parking spot. Very homey and clean. The casa is well appointed with a king bed in one bedroom and two twins in the second bedroom. There is one bath. Linda provides a bottle of welcome wine which was very kind of her and there was even some coffee and eggs in the refrigerator. There is also a lovely courtyard but it was too chilly for us to use it. It did take a while for the casa to heat up but we are probably more sensitive to cold than the average person. If you don't need or want to be in a hotel I would recommend this rental.
