About The Owner

We are a couple with three young children. We are looking forward to enjoying many summers in Wisconsin and enjoying all that our lake has to offer! Now, we are sharing the joy with our guests! We are proud of the comments people have left us and proud to see other families enjoy our home as we do!

The Owner purchased this house in 2007

Why The Owner chose Southern Wisconsin

We have family on the lake who, throughout the years, have invited us into their home and allowed us to enjoy holidays with them. We have ALWAYS loved the lake and always enjoyed spending time with our family members up there. We decided to buy a home just a few houses away so we can continue to enjoy the watersports and scenery with friends and family. Also, we have neices and nephews on the waterski team and enjoy watching them do amazing ski tricks twice a week when they have the Aquanuts show!

What makes this house unique

Beautiful lake views. Sunrises from the screened in porch and sunsets from the kitchen and open front porch. Big family room (lower level) for the kids to crowd into on a rainy day and separate their games from the adults. Screened in porch to keep away the bugs. On a small hill for added views. Swimming water that's clean and clear! Firepit for the smores and stories! 3 bathrooms for added privacy. Quiet cul-de-sac street for kids enjoyment and safety! Waterviews from both front and back of home!

Guestbook comments from the owner

This family sent this email for me to include in the reviews....

My mom and dad rented this home as a home base for a week. My kids and their cousins, along with parents came and went all week and enjoyed sleepovers, water sports, sunbathing, amazing ski show, kayaking, canoeing, board games and story telling around the fire! My mom enjoyed it all from the screened in porch in a nice sun and bug free environment. She loved listening to the kids having a great time and cooking meals for them. She did this before, but this house was much better. It has three separate levels and is equip with our needs. Eileen had directed us to to the local bakery (Body's?) and we loved it. We became totally addicted to the donuts there! We made a nice photobook for our mom with all the nice pictures taken during the week. A great experience all around.

Great for families!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second year renting this home and we hope to make it an annual event. The owners have done a wonderful job supplying all that you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. At the same time, the home is not so elaborate that you can't feel free to live in it - this was important to us with kids, grandkids, dogs, etc. We all enjoyed the lake and the little ones played in the water for hours. The various decks, docks, etc were great, but the real jewel of the place was the screened in back porch - you could sit out there for ours and we did!!!!!

Family fun!

  • 5 of 5

We rent a house every 4th of July but this was the best! We stayed here with 4 families. The kids had a great time fishing and swimming off the dock. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax inside with the two living rooms and outside on the beautiful deck! We enjoyed nightly fires in the fire pit and watched beautiful fireworks off the dock. Fantastic time and so easy to rent!!

Happy family time and good memories

  • 5 of 5

This was my first time renting a vacation rental. I usually like to do the high end hotel thing. the owner was very nice and informative throughout the whole experience. She even sent me websites to things to do in the area and explained the ski show schedule. I was worried we wouldn't have something that we needed in the kitchen or to occupy the kids, but it was exactly like she said it would be. The house was real clean and comfoortable. I think this was one of the nicest vacations we have had as a family. Grandma and Grandpa got to come and so did our little dog. My daughter loved the toys and puzzles that were at the house and the shallow water was perfect for a 4 year old. We wanted to make our trip longer but the house was all booked up. We will make sure to book early next year if we can get the time off work. A nice experience, indeed.

Our Best Family Vacation Experience

  • 5 of 5

We've been doing a family vacation for about the past 10 years, always going to a different home on a lakefront location each year. Our entire family, consisting of myself, wife and dog, 4 married children, and grandchildren, all agree that this home was the best setup and a perfect fit for us. The home itself was clean; the kitchen/family area on main floor, which is an open area, allowed us all to eat/watch children while remaining together. The lakefront/pier area was also nicely arranged;the deck area was very large also allowing all to remain together; bushes running down both sides of the property to the lakefront provided privacy; the space between the "h" of the pier and lakefront allowed us to put in a large floating "relaxation station" where we could all safely hang out; the "u" portion of the "h" shaped pier also made it very easy and safe access docking our ski boat. The lake itself was clean; during the week, there was very little boat activity, and even on the weekends, the boat activity only slightly increased(not our experience on other lakes) which still made it safe and manageable to swim as well as ski, wakeboard, raft, etc. Finally, in talking with different family members over the past few weeks, for the 1st time, I've found that all prefer to return to this home for next years vacation.

Wonderful Vacation House

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed a relaxing week of family vacation at the house. There were 12 of us ranging from 9-73 and we found the accomodations to be quite comfortable. Our favorite room was the screened porch! Beautiful scenery and great furniture set up. Kids and dads alike enjoyed hours of successful fishing from the dock. The firepit was also great for smores one evening. When we ventured out we found groceries nearby and the nicest tennis courts in the next town. The kitchen had all you needed to cook meals and we were excited about the extra 'drink' fridge. The owner was easy to work with and we've already signed on to come back next year!

Car: necessary

Most people like to say put and enjoy the lake and all it has to offer. Some head to Geneva for the day for shopping or Richmond for antiquing. I like to head over to the outlets!
