Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)
This is our second home and mountain getaway. We gladly share this very special place and experience with our wonderful guests. The satisfaction and comfort of our guest is a priority. We live in Miami and cherish little more than our time spent at our creekside mountain getaway and are always sad to leave.
Annie purchased this Cabin in 2007
Why Annie chose Hayesville
After weeks of internet searches and days of viewing properties in the area in 2007 we found this incredible property and instantly fell in love with its rustic cedar interior, enchanted setting and the amazing creek, which rushes just feet off the house, unlike any other home we had seen. We added a stone wood-burning fireplace, moved the gas fireplace out to the sleeping porch and installed a window seat for additional comfort and charm.
What makes this Cabin unique
The creek is amazing. It was a quiet creek when we first bought it but soon discovered how it changes after a strong rain, becoming almost torrential, as it cascades along its path. So hope for rain when you are there, so you can enjoy the creek at its best.

My family and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. Highly recommend this location. Will do this again.
A little confusion when I arrived since cabin hadn’t been cleaned but was resolved immediately. This is a great cabin on a roaring creek. It was as described in ad and I was very pleased with the owner’s quick response to my questions.
Can’t wait to come back in the summer.
Colors were absolutely beautiful.
Beautiful and cozy cabin
The most relaxing stay I've had in a long time
Loved location ,people where super friendly, looking forward to going back again
Great place to relax.
We stayed for six nights at Rushing Waters and we completely enjoyed the stay. It was relaxing for us, we were able to hear the creek all the time if we wanted to (or we could close the windows/doors and not hear it). The place is easy to get to and even though it is down a 1 mile dirt/rock road, the road is not hard at all to traverse, not steep, hardly any inclines at all.
We really appreciated having a king sized bed and it was comfortable for us, usually my lower back gets pretty sore in other beds but not bad at all in this bed.
Not far from places to explore and you can even make a day trip to Gatlinburg or Cherokee if you so desire. Overall we had a great time and would like to come back again.
Second stay, very nice home. Beautiful creek. Nice area.
Golf: Lots of beautiful mountain-view golf courses in Georgia and North Carolina mountains nearby. The Ridges Golf Resort outside Hayesville has re-opened and is 5 minutes from the cabin. Lake Chatuge Shores Golf Club (15 minutes) and Brassville Resort (20 minutes) are also nearby. Come enjoy a mountain vacation in an enchanting setting in a cozy cabin in the mountains, with easy access to some wonderful golf resorts.
