Location is the best! No car needed if you want to hit beautiful beaches close by and town. House is adorable with a really nice back yard.
This was a trial run for my husband and I - bringing our 2 young kids (2.5 and 1 year old) to Nantucket for a week. We were hoping for the best but everything surpassed our expectations and this beautiful cottage was the main reason. Though small, every bit of space was used perfectly allowing for plenty of room for us to enjoy ourselves. It was very clean and the backyard and furniture was top notch so that we could enjoy the wonderful outdoor space every day or while kids napped/slept. The location cannot be better - very close to everything yet quiet and peaceful. Robert was extremely responsive and hospitable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The cottage was charming. Perfect location, close to town but felt tucked away. Backyard was beautiful, outdoor shower wonderful!
I took my two kids for a week in our special place, Nantucket, and chose this Brant Point cottage because of its proximity to town, great beaches, and playgrounds. Our older daughter loved staying up in the attic and our baby stayed in a pack-n-play in the master bedroom (a tight squeeze, but we knew it was coming). The home had everything we needed and was perfectly decorated for a Nantucket summer home. We didn't do much formal cooking, but it would have worked in the tiny kitchen, and we dined outside often on the lovely teak table and chairs. The owners have put a lot of thought into making sure every object in the home serves a purpose and guests have everything they need. The home is situated on a quiet street and has a gorgeous back lawn. If you head this way and have young kids, be sure to check out the calendar of events at Children's Beach - we packed a picnic on several occasions to be able to enjoy the outdoor music and entertainment. We did not bring a car - just rented a stroller to get around - and have no regrets in our decision due to this home's great location. Highly recommend 13 E Lincoln!
Simply the best rental ever. This home is charming, completely functional, and top quality. We stayed for a week long family vacation with our 2 adult daughters. We cooked our meals in the tiny kitchen and dined outside in the yard. The location was perfect and very quiet, but close enough for walking during very busy week on Nantucket. It's very very small but it's got everything you need and it's perfectly maintained. We will come back again, everything was spectacular.
The cottage is adorable! The location is perfect--very close to town and a few of the beaches--but also on a quiet street in Brant Point. The cottage itself is very small, but has everything you need for an excellent stay and worked very well for our family of four. The interior was bright, clean and well-maintained with nice, comfortable bedding. The backyard was a plus with plenty of seating and an outdoor shower. We didn't do a lot of cooking, but there is a large gas grill outside, and everything you might want to prepare meals in the kitchen. There is even a small space to park your car in front of the house, although you could easily do without your car because the location is so prime. The upstairs sleeping space is in a loft with narrow eaves so you just need to be careful when getting in and out of the beds, but the kids thought it was a fun, cozy area. Robert, the owner, was very accomodating and easy to work with. We had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!
Located in Brant Point, our cottage is just a 10 minute walk to Nantucket Town and the historic area, including all shops and restaurants. Also just a 10 minute walk from the ferries arriving to and departing from Nantucket. We are also a 10 minute walk to Children's Beach, Jetties Beach and the Brant Point Lighthouse and beach area. Bicycle, Scooter and Jeep rentals are just 3 blocks away. East Lincoln Avenue is a quiet residential street. Cut and paste this link and our cottage was among those featured in a well read design blog: http://www.elementsofstyleblog.com/2009/05/i-want-to-go-to-there-ack.html
