Very comfy

  • 4 of 5

Centrally located, near everything you need, restaurants, all shopping and sites. Very close to Randolph golf. Pretty much everything you need is supplied. Nice big area for the dog and us in the back. Glenda and her husband are very nice. Cable was great and the Internet also. Great having a washer and dryer. Having your vehicle right out the front door ((just 5 ft away) with a carport was great. Easy for unpacking and packing. Showers and water pressure were great. Air and heat were excellent. Neighborhood is old but comfortable. Neighbors were very nice. Would have given 5 stars but the view was obstructed from the master by a huge tree with too many leaves to see the mountains.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the lovely review. At the time the picture from the master bedroom balcony was taken, we were in the middle of a horrible drought and I thought I was going to lose that tree, however the lose of leaves did make the better view of the mountains. Perhaps I'll have to have some of them trimmed. I miss the beautiful view too. I am so glad you had a lovely stay in my home. Glenda

Suitable accommodation for the price

  • 3 of 5

Inner city property. Not the best area of Tucson but seemed OK. Next to Walmart and Burger King. Central location. Home is dated but fine. A few comments:

1. Master suite bed very soft, such that two people sleeping in it end up sliding into the middle. Must sleep on outer edge of bed to avoid sliding to the middle. Would recommend a new bed.

2. Shower needs a serious cleaning, especially the shower drain.

Older home. Cement outer walls, original cabinets, that type of thing. Lots of VHS tapes to watch, and some DVD's too. Priced appropriately for what it is. Suitable if looking for economical place to stay. Master suite needs a new bed.

Owner's Response: The mattress is only 2 years old and yes the home is dated but that adds to the character. It is not advertised as a new home. I bought it when I was 23, I am now 70 and it took me and my husband two days to clean up after this guest left. I love my home in Tucson and we enjoy going there as often as possible. The area is totally safe and very clean within the 42 townhouse area.

Convenient and comfortable

  • 4 of 5

Condo was comfortable and well-supplied. The shady back yard and balcony were pleasant on hot days. The view of the mountains from the balcony was nice. Conveniently located within walking distance of 2 grocery stores, several fast food places and the Tucson Botanical Garden and just a few minutes drive from 2 dog parks and the Rillito River Park trail.

Great rental for a longer stay

  • 5 of 5

I moved to Tucson for a new job and needed a place to stay with my dog while I was looking for a home. The home is a nice, two-story townhome with a fenced back yard. The owner left a bottle of wine for me, which was very nice! Even though my dog did quite a bit of digging in the back yard, the owner was still very accommodating about the deposit. There are two grocery stores very close by, making it easy to get everything you need, and the Rillito river trail is only 1 mile away.

Great Time!!

  • 4 of 5

Our experience staying in this house was satisfying. It had everything we needed: 2.5 bathrooms, enough kitchen appliances to make a good meal, plenty of parking space, a fenced backyard for our dog, and was in a good location (close to Trader Joe's, Fry's, Walmart, and the mall). The only downside to this home was the mattress in the master bedroom, which wasn't very comfortable to sleep in. Also, the desk and outdated computer in the first room on the second floor was unnecessary and took up space that could be used for something more useful. In general, we had a great time staying in this house.

Owner's Response: You are right about the old computer and thanks for calling my attention to it. The mattress on the master bedroom bed is only a year old and we are comfy on it but I am thanking you so much for your review. Glenda

This is a quiet oasis in the middle of the city.

  • 5 of 5

This quiet oasis in the middle of a bustling city is wonderful.

There are lots of restaurants and things to do all around.

The townhouse is spacious and well kept and the owner is most accommodating and pleasant.

We would highly recommend this property and we hope very much for another vacation there next year!
