Lori and Gil Green have owned this property as a second home since 1991. They have owned Gulfcoast Ultrasound Institute in St Pete Beach since 1985, presenting continuing education seminars to physicians, sonographers, and medical professionals.
Gil and Lori Green purchased this condo in 1991
Lori and Gil Green have owned this property as a second home from their busy professional life up the coast in St. Pete Beach. Over the years this small complex of eight unit owners has become a convenient and tranquil place on the island for all the owners and guests alike. We drive off the ferry, unload the SUV, and enjoy our time either in the Gulf just across the street, in the freshwater pool, or in our boat from the boat slips 30' from our porch. It's really the best of all worlds on this special island. We have all the comforts of home that a small group or family would need.
My husband and I with another couple stayed a week at the Island House in March 2017. The unit was very clean and nicer than described or photographed. The beach is across the street and beautiful! The boat dock is at the back door and the pool at the front door! Doesn't get any nicer! Gil sent very complete instructions and directions which were very helpful! We enjoyed our stay! Thanks Gil and Lori
We had a great trip. Palm Island is our favorite place and this property is a nice location on the island. Neighbors were very friendly too!
Gil, my friend and I enjoyed your wonderful condo. I particularly loved the screen porch with surrounding trees, felt like I was in the woods yet steps from the beach.
The deck under the screen porch leading to the canal - awesome , another favorite spot to sit and read or cook dinner on the grill.
Neighbors very nice and friendly.
The pool and beach are wonderful , unfortunely we hit a day of redtide and the last three days had a riptide , so swimming in the Gulf was to a minimum. Which was merely an act of nature , out of everyone's control. these high winds put a damper on going out on a boat , again can't help that.
Loved renting a golf cart for a few days and riding the bike, disappointed we could only use one of the bikes as the other two had low tires, you did have a pump available - which we tried - perhaps they had a leak.
Also liked the 1/2 bath / full set up with the pocket door :)
Lovely place to relax and get away from everything.
We enjoyed our recent stay on Don Pedro Island, the accommodations were perfect. The top two factors were the gorgeous beach just a minute walk down/across the road, and the fabulous pool. We loved having canal access, as we were able to be picked up by grandpa and grandma in their boat. Loved it! Highly recommend if you're able to relax and chill.
This place was a great value for our family of 4. Gil and Lori were a pleasure to work with and thank you for letting us stay at your beach house. We were fortunate to get a kayak and paddled with the dolphins in the inter coastal waterways. We were so close to the dolphins that we could almost reach out and touch them. Gil's recommendation of using Captain Jeff for a fishing charter was spot on. It felt like my 16 year old and I were fishing with another friend.
The white sands of the golf coast beach are only steps away. Despite it being 85 degrees and sunny, I don't think we could see more than 20 other people on the beach. In short, it was every bit like being on Siesta Key or Naples without the crowds. The folks on the island that we met were all welcoming and friendly. Ideal if you really want the quiet beach getaway.
Let me first say that we wish we could have stayed longer. This home was beautiful and super CLEAN (even by my standards)! At least half the time when we travel I end up cleaning the place we stay at because it just isn't clean enough. That was not the case here, and my inner clean freak was able to just relax right away. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your own slice of paradise and allowing us to take a much needed escape from crazy schedules and city noise (and traffic). We hope to come back soon.
