Frisco House Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 9)

Located six blocks from downtown Frisco, Mountain Side is a highly desireable area and is known for having the best complimentary recreational facilities for guests. Soak those sore muscles from a long day of skiing, hiking, or shopping in one of four hot tubs. Romp with the kids in the large indoor pool. Melt all your cares away in the steam room or sauna. Challenge your friends to a game of tennis or racquetball. All these fun activities are yours to enjoy, at no additional cost and just steps from your front door!!!

'Colorado Rustic' is a good way to describe the décor in this 1680 square foot patio home. Old wooden skis, snowshoes, lodgey prints, and rustic mining artifacts adorn the walls. The use of warm earth tones and textures create a cozy ambiance.

The living room on the main floor is spacious and airy with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows. The open kitchen and dining area makes an ideal gathering place to brag about who skiied the steepest blacks or caught the biggest fish, while keeping the cook company! The dining room table seats six with extra seating at the counterbar.

Sink into the comfy couch or loveseat while being mesmerized by a roaring fire in the gas log fireplace. Relax on the deck and let a sense of wonder and peace surround you as you enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains. The downstairs family room is perfect for those who want extra space, privacy or can't agree on what to watch on t.v.!

The large master bedroom on the upper-most level boasts a comfy, king-size, aspen log bed and TV. A full bath adjoins the master bedroom, as does a large, walk-in closet. The guest bedroom is on the second level and is almost as spacious as the master. It has a queen-size, aspen log bed, dresser, and large closet with connecting full guest bath.

The garden level boasts a seperate family room complete with queen-sized sofa bed with a memory foam mattress, 36' flat screen television, third bedroom, and full bath. The third bedroom has bunkbeds (full on bottom, twin on top), chest of drawers, and a closet. This home also offers a full-size washer and dryer. The home backs to a greenbelt which offers extra privacy. Across the street is a trail which will take you to Mountain Side's private stocked lake. No fishing license required!

Nearby, is the popular bike path that runs from Breckenridge to Vail. Past the bike path are wonderful hiking trails which take you past wetlands, beaver ponds, over mountain streams, through gorgeous groves of aspen, and even up to an old mining town, Masontown, which was wiped out by an avalanche. There's no need for a car to get to hiking, biking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing - it's in your backyard!

When checking availability on the calendar, please note that you can check-out on date marked in red as those guests would be checking in that evening.

About The Owner

We live in Colorado and have always wanted a rental in the mountains. Summit County is easily accessible from the Front Range and it's proximity to a wide variety of recreational activities is unsurpassed. The town of Frisco is quaint but still manages to offer diverse dining options and cultural/community events.

The Owner purchased this house in 2005

Why The Owner chose Summit County Colorado

Frisco is central to all of the ski resorts and still has that 'small town' appeal. The town puts on several events throughout the year frequently closing down main street resulting in fun block parties that all ages enjoy.

The Mountain Side complex offers the best amenities. Most people will have to go to Silverthorne or Breckenridge Rec Centers and pay to enjoy the amenities we have for free!

What makes this house unique

Proximity to all five ski resorts, the bike path that goes from Vail to Breckenridge, and great hiking. The clubhouse at Mountain Side (especially the hot tubs) are enjoyed no matter what age you are and what season it is!

Guestbook comments from the owner

I have been meaning to write to you to let you know what a lovely time we had in your mountain home. It is warm and comfortable and so accessible to shops, the recreation center and Silverthorne where we enjoyed several hours of shopping. The home is perfect for an inter- generational family vacation as ours was. Having bedrooms on different levels gave us each our own space and privacy. We hope to repeat this sometime again and would certainly choose your place if available. Thank you very much.

Plenty of space for 5

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this unit- the highlight being five moose who were roaming around behind the unit one morning casually munching on the trees! The unit is as well appointed as mentioned in the description. There were five in our party- plenty of room with the three level layout for everyone to have their own space. I have stayed at Mountainside previously and the complex, as a whole, is worthwhile. Michelle was easy to work with, did not invoice us until after we signed the rental agreement (an owner at another property billed us while we still browsing) and refunded the security deposit within 10 days of our departure. One additional point for us was, being 55+ and from the east, was that there are only a few stairs needed to climb to enter and get around the unit as opposes to having to climb 2-3 flights for the condo flats that are also available at Mountainside.

Family Holiday

  • 5 of 5

(I thought I sent a review earlier this year.)

Our stay in Frisco at this VRBO rental was great. Our family was pleased with the accommodations and convenience of the property to all we planned to do during the holidays.

Our first choice in Frisco...

  • 5 of 5

Our family has been meeting in Mountain Side (Frisco, Colorado) for vacations for many years, now. This July, 2016, marks the third summer in a row that we have stayed here and we intend to make this our first choice when planning future vacations in this area. This home is beautiful, very well appointed and just generally works so well for our family helping to make our time here very memorable. Any issue that has ever developed for us has been very minor but, nonetheless, was still addressed very promptly. We have stayed at many homes and condos in Mountain Side over the years so we are quite aware of the many choices and we would highly recommend this home in your search for what is a good fit for your occasion!

Great vacation rental. We had 5 in our group but easily could have had 9 and still had privacy.3 baths is a big plus.

Comfortable and well apportioned, we would stay again. The owner was friendly and helpful. The deposit was refunded in a timely manner.

The description correctly states that it is 6 blocks from downtown, but these are large blocks, don't plan on walking to the shuttle with ski and boarding gear.

Skiing with a family of 5

  • 5 of 5

This is a great place to stay for a family or larger group of people interested in skiing at a variety of ski resorts. Our family of five (1 adult and 2 teenage sons) had plenty of room to spend time together or spread out for privacy and quiet time. Close to downtown Frisco for meals out or shopping. Enjoyed the hot tub at the clubhouse after a hard day of skiing.

Fantastic New Year's in Frisco

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time over New Year's at this home in Frisco. The home was beautifully decorated and we especially loved the downstairs TV room. Even with the cold weather we experienced, it was easy to walk into Frisco for shopping or dinner. Great location, beautiful home.... we'll come back.
