Imagine a mountain retreat just 3 minutes walking distance to the Quicksilver high-speed lift in the Peak 9 Village & Main Street's shops and restaurants. Very few places in Breckenridge offer a private, quiet location that is so close to both the mountain and downtown. In this great mountainside location, it's convenient to ski, hike or bike, and return to the condo throughout the day for lunch and a rest.

Walk just 3 minutes to the Quicksilver Lift at the Peak 9 Village base area! Simply walk across the street to a paved path that leads directly to the ski lift. Amenities in the Peak 9 base Village include on-mountain dining at The Maggie, restaurants, bars, shops, ski and snowboarding schools, rental shops, childcare and a medical clinic.

Peak 9 is at the core of the ski area and the location could not be better….it caters to beginner, intermediate and expert skiers and provides ideal access to the rest of the mountain. Take the 6-person high-speed Quicksilver Lift at Peak 9 to any of several lifts that will whisk you directly up to the tops of Peaks 8, 9 and 10. You can return directly to the Peak 9 base area from most lifts, including the Imperial Lift at the very top. It is easy to get around the mountain and access the condo throughout the day.

Walk just 3-5 minutes to the Peak 9 Village and Main Street shops and restaurants! The Quandary Grille, Breckenridge Brewery, Blue Moose Restaurant (famous for its breakfast), Taddeo’s Italian Restaurant, Empire Burger, Burke & Riley’s Pub, Mi Casa, The Flatbread Pizza Company, and La Francois French Bakery are all great choices about 5 minutes walking distance from the condo. Continue to stroll along Main Street and discover more charming restaurants and cafés, bustling pubs, and fine dining. Browse the ski shops, art galleries and trendy boutiques and enjoy the town.

In the summer of 2012, the entire outside of the condo complex was renovated. The siding was replaced, stone chimneys were added and the complex was updated with new paint, lighting, and cedar decks and ski lockers. A unique feature of this unit is that it is private and quiet, located in a scenic, wooded area on the south side of the mountain. Kids enjoy playing along the tree-lined, paved path that leads to town and can safely bike around the condo. And, best of all, this corner two-story unit does not share any common walls with neighboring condos and is very quiet.

There is a covered parking space reserved for the condo unit, which guarantees comfortable and convenient access to the condo regardless of weather conditions. Park your car and walk along the covered walkway that is just a few steps from your ski locker and the condo. Store your skis, snowboards and poles in the large ski locker reserved for your condo. In the winter, you will be delighted to see the snow cover the ski slopes and not your car!

Breckenridge is centrally located from other Vail Resorts' mountains: only 20–25 min. from Keystone and A-Basin; 45 min. from Vail, and 1 hr. from Beaver Creek. For guests without a car, the condo is within easy walking distance from much of the Town of Breckenridge. In addition, there is a bus stop nearby where you can board the Free Ride bus and take it around Breckenridge, to the Ice Rink, City Market, and Recreation Center. The bus also stops at the town depot, where you can take the Summit Stage bus to the other great Summit County Ski Resorts: Copper Mountain, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin.

Just steps from the condo are two indoor hot tubs and two outdoor hot tubs, and a heated outdoor swimming pool, and a clubhouse. The outdoor pool includes a toddler pool. Inside the clubhouse are lockers, showers and bathrooms. The pools and hot tubs are open during ski season and in the summer. In the spring and fall, you may use the pools and facilities at the Breckenridge Recreation Center.

As a two-story corner unit with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows on all sides, the condo and is bright and open. The mountain décor throughout the condo is new and modern. The family room features a new stone gas fireplace with a refinished mantel salvaged from a nearby mining cabin, and a blower, making the living area extra cozy in the winter. Sink into the new, comfortable leather couches in front of a 40” flat screen TV and watch cable or pop a DVD in the blue-ray DVD player, or listen to music on the iPod/iPad player. Available to you are a variety of books, games and DVDs for adults and children.

The well-equipped kitchen opens to the dining and family rooms, so you can socialize while preparing food. The new kitchen table has four seats and a bench, and the kitchen bar has seating for three more. The sliding glass doors off of the dining room open to a large deck with chairs and a gas grill. Sip your coffee in the morning and enjoy the Colorado outdoors.

The condo has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, plus a loft bedroom. The private, spacious master bedroom is on the main floor and features a queen bed with a pillow top mattress and new down comforter, a flat screen LED TV, and sliding glass doors that open to a private deck. There is a full bath just outside the master bedroom with a newly tiled shower and a bathtub. Upstairs are a second bedroom with two twin beds that have new mattresses and new bedding, and a DVD player. The trundle bed and bedding in the loft are new and the trundle folds out to two twin beds or one large bed. There is a queen sofa bed in the living room, and a 2” queen memory foam mattress topper. There is a second full bathroom upstairs with a shower.

For the very little ones, there is a pack and play and a sheet for the mattress, and space to set it up in any of the bedrooms. There are also baby spoons, a baby seat with a tray that attaches to the dining chair, a stair gate, and outlet covers. There are sleds for the sledding park, toy boxes filled toys, children’s books and games, children’s DVDs, and a game table with checkers, chess and backgammon in the loft. For adults, there are DVDs, novels, playing cards and games (including poker chips and Monopoly). Children may enjoy the Mountain Top Children's Museum, located right in the Village at Peak 9. Check out the Museum’s Kid’s Night Out and enjoy dinner on the town.

Other conveniences include free wireless Internet access and a free washer/dryer. The entryway is equipped with a bench, ample coat hooks, shoe storage, and heated boot racks… ahhh…dry, warm boots in the morning.

The condo owners cater to guests and will personalize your vacation with ideas for resort and on- or off-mountain activities. At your service are recommendations for restaurants, nightlife hot spots, transportation, discount lift tickets, ski and snowboard rentals, activities, and local attractions. Inside the condo are winter ski trail maps, summer bike trail maps, activity brochures, restaurant menus, a local hiking guide and more!

About Michelle and Tim Messner

We're a family of five from Colorado and we love spending time in Breckenridge. The mountain and town are alive in the winter, the outdoors are abundant in the spring and summer, and the colors unforgettable in the fall. There's always something fun to do. We’re certain you’ll enjoy our place as much as we do!

Why Michelle and Tim Messner chose Breckenridge Area

We've worked hard to make the condo enjoyable for families, as is evident from reading our online guest comments. We use the condo as well as rent it out, and are always making updates to make it better for ourselves and for our guests.

What makes this condo unique

When we first saw this Timbernest condo, we knew it was perfect for our family! We love that the condo is quiet and private, has a unique, open layout with a loft and vaulted ceilings, and that we can walk to the ski lifts and downtown shops and restaurants.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Beautiful, clean place! It was so convenient to walk to the lifts, bars and restaurants. Very kid-friendly! We will keep this condo in mind for many future visits. Thanks!

Non Air-Conditioned: Breckenridge is a desirable retreat during the warmer months because of the cool mountain environment and temperate summer weather, with highs in the low to mid 70’s and lows in the high 30’s and 40’s. As with most homes, condos and hotels in Breckenridge (including the Hyatt and Marriott), our townhome does not have air conditioning because it is not needed for the mild summer. We take an environmentally friendly approach to air-conditioning, relying on cool mountain breezes during the summer months. Simply turn off the heat and open a few windows until the condo is at your desired temperature. Fans are also provided, and are stored in the bedroom closets for your use.

Convenient Location & Beautifully Updated! Easy Walk to Ski Lift and Main St.!
average rating of 5.0 based on 34 reviews

Exceptional location! VERY close to ski lift and town. Love this condo!

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful condo was perfect for our family of five. I loved the updates, the unique two-level open layout, and the space. Our son and daughters enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs and my husband and I slept in the master suite on the main level. Very comfortable beds! Our kids skied the expert trails while we skied easier ones, and the Quicksilver lift was so close that it was convenient for us all to meet at the condo for lunch before heading back out for the afternoon! For dinner, we loved that we could walk just 3 minutes to the restaurants in the Peak 9 Village. It was a 5-minute walk from the condo to Main Street and several other amazing restaurants, so many choices! After dinner, we shopped, relaxed at the hot tubs just outside the condo, or played family games that the owners provided. Thank you, Michelle and Tim, for an amazing, memorable family vacation!

Great Breckenridge Experience!

  • 5 of 5

This was our first time at Breckenridge, and Michelle was very helpful in providing suggestions and making sure our stay was wonderful. That weekend there was even an ice sculpture festival.

The location near Peak 9 was very convenient, and we could walk to the ski rental store and the slopes. The place is also very near the main strip of restaurants and bars and stores (5 min drive).

After a full day of skiing, we appreciated coming back to a nice warm fire and spacious cozy abode. Would definitely recommend!

Property was well maintained and had all the amenities to make ones stay comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

This loft was very comfy and made you feel at home, it handle and slept a group of 5 very well.

Just a short 5 minute walk and you're at the base of peak 9 ready to catch the lift, 5 more minutes from there and you're on main Street ready to shop and eat. It'll be my first choice next time I'm in Breckenridge.

We (party of 5 of around 25 years old) booked with Tim and Michelle for a 4-nights stay in Mid-December for our ski trip.

Everything spelled out by the owners on this site is true: condo layout, convenient location, well-equipped kitchen, and peaceful atmosphere. The owners are quick to respond and assist you with the questions you have.

Hot water, heater, and the fireplace worked well the entire time of our stay.

2nd floor was smaller than we had imagined (especially the shower), but cleanliness of the place makes up for it, so we have no complaints overall. My friends did say their mattresses (master and sofa sleeper) were on the softer, but I thought the trundle bed I slept on was very comfortable.

Would definitely consider another stay or recommend to other friends. Thank you, Tim and Michelle.

Great condo for a family

  • 5 of 5

This is a great condo for a family ski vacation - we had two adults and two college kids. The condo could easily sleep 7 or 8 people. Upstairs, one kid took the bedroom; the other had the loft. The master is downstairs, so everyone had their own space.

Condo is VERY well equipped - literally everything you need from trash bags to shower gel, conditioner and extra batteries! There are towels for everyone plus pool towels to take to the hot tub (very short walk across the parking lot).

Reserved parking is downstairs and is covered (important in Colorado in January!). The ski lift is a short 5 minute walk - we all walked over there and carried skis/boards every day - no complaints. Main Street Breck is also a short walk - no trouble walking to dinner.

The owners were easy to deal with and very responsive.

HIGHLY recommended.
