The Bull Pub is famous for its scrumptious pub food and roaring open fires. 1 Quad room with 1 Double Bed & 2 Single Beds, En-suite shower room with WC and wash basin. Cupboards & hanging space making it an ideal family room located just off the hallway and to the front of the house.

Twin bedroom with en-suite

Opposite the family bedroom sleeps 3 with en-suite shower room with WC wash basin and single shower cubicle. Sleeps 3 with 3 single beds. Located at the front.

2 further bedrooms are located off the very spacious hallway that leads to the kitchen living dining room, sleeping 2 each with 'Zip and link' beds that can be set as doubles or 2 singles (Please specify at time of booking)

4 x Sofa Beds in the living room which sleep 1 adult each comfortably or 2 small adults or children.

Family Bathroom with walk in shower room and bath with WC and wash basin.

Utility Room

Useful utility room with sink and washing machine and work top

Weekend retreat for a get together

It was a lovely big bungalow that worked perfectly for four families to have a weekend away. The house was very clean and contact with Andrew was efficient. Good facilities, the kitchen was particularly well stocked.

Great to have the dogs to stay!

We booked a week over Christmas period. We had a maximum of 8 staying so all the beds provided were enough for us. The kitchen is well equipped (a new fridge from photo) with plenty of crockery and plates. To have 3 bathrooms and a utility room is also great offering privacy where required. We moved one of the dining tables into the living area with the benches and this worked better for us to be near kitchen.The key benefit was being able to take our 2 dogs. They stayed mainly in the conservatory and could get easy access to the enclosed garden. There are super walks all around and an easy 5 minute stroll to the village. We had super meals at both pubs. We also took the train from Hassocks into Brighton a couple of times and did a food shop at M&S food about 10 minutes drive away.

I would not describe the property as luxurious but it met our requirements for a family celebration including the dogs. Thank you Andrew.

Great place to stay

The house is big, clean, well-decorated and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to feed an army, just add food. It's a great place to base yourself for walking on the South Downs. Ditchling is a lovely village and the Bull was great for drinks and dinner. Andrew the owner was helpful and made everything run smoothly. Highly recommended.

Great house for a big group

Hired this house for a hen do. The space worked well for us and the village is lovely. Everything was well organised and easy before arrival. Rooms were set up to sleep 11 in proper beds with room for more on sofa beds. Decent bathroom space. Only 20 minutes into Brighton.

A few drawbacks - slightly limited kitchen supplies (including glasses - Not enough wine glasses for 12 people), garden could be made much nicer and no supply of towels.

Overall would recommend for a group.

Amazing place

We stayed here to celebrate a special birthday and the place was amazing! We all agreed that the photos don't do it justice - the place is massive and comfortably slept all 13 of us. I think someone else described it as a tardis and we'd have to agree! The rooms are spacious and there are plenty of bathrooms and space to cater for large groups.

The property was immaculately clean with all the amenities you could need and in a great location to visit Brighton Lewes or walk up to the beacon which we all did. Stunning scenery.

We had dinner at the Bull in the village which was lovely and only a short walk and there are lots of supermarkets in Hassocks which is around the corner.

Can't recommend this place enough and we're already thinking about our next stay here...
