For your banking needs there are 4 major local banks and a cinema in Koko Marina.
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, Sea Life Park, Kaiwi Coast Trail are nearby and recommended visits due to its proximity.

About Hernando C.
Grew up in the Orient and educated in Catholic schools and worked for a major bank in Hong Kong. Self employed since leaving the financial institute in '64. Came to beautiful Hawaii in '74. Visited France, Italy, Spain and Portugal in '06 and '07 with my wife and granddaughter.

Due to its seclusiveness and spacious dining and living areas and a huge bedroom with 30' ceiling, it was a no brainer to sell our former moderate sized home for this one.

The property is clean, with all the extras: nice owners, nice welcome package and nice parking.
A couple of minor issues were solved immediately when brought to the attention of the owner. We like it so much,we have signed up for a third year.

High quality residence
This apartment is maintained to a high standard and is exceptionally clean and well appointed. The owners also go that little bit extra in terms of welcoming you with a few treats. My only slight disappointment is that the pictures are classic "real estate" and not therefore "real". I had a feeling that was the case when viewing the property on the web, and so it proved. This property has two excellent very large firm beds with high quality linen and one single bed of far lower quality. It is exceptionally quiet being right at the dead end of the road.

Very quiet and relaxing
Since this location is the last house at the top of the road and right below the rain forest in Hawaii Kai, it is a very quiet peaceful location. It was fantastic waking up to the lovely sounds of all the birds. The backyard by the pool was not only quiet, but also private. We felt so calm without having to sit beside someone at the hotel resorts or listen to all the happy children screaming their joyful words. The location was perfect, being only 12-17 minutes away from a fantastic beach to watch the locals in the surf, hike the Makapu‘u Point Lighthouse Trail and swim in gorgeous tide pools, and Hanauma Bay for snorkeling. The whole Hawaii Kai area as well as the neighbourhood felt extremely safe and a place that one could see themselves living. Safeway and Costco were only 8 minutes away and Whole foods is 20 minutes away. The occasional rain shower (since being so high and near the rain forest) was a welcome relief to a full day in the sun.
The owners were very prompt to answer any questions as they live right above your suite. But honestly we hardly even knew they were there. You can tell they have been doing this for awhile because anything you might need is already in the site.
We would recommend this suite to everyone and will definitely stay here again.
Great Location - Wonderful Stay!
We just return from a wonderful 9 night stay in Hawaii at Seabreeze. Four adults stayed here and we found the accommodations to be very comfortable. The owners, Hernando and Paulette were there to greet us when we arrived and answer any questions we had, as well as offer recommendations on grocery stores and restaurants. We also appreciated the fresh fruit , sweet bread, goodies and coffee that they left for us to enjoy during our stay there. The house is on the end of a street, so there was no traffic noise. Conveniently, there was a designated parking space in the paved driveway for our use during our stay. We could hear the sounds of the jungle birds singing to us each morning as we left out for our daily adventures. The house was well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies and the bedrooms were large. The master bath provided a huge walk in shower which was very inviting at the end of a day of sightseeing. Air conditioning units were quiet. We found the location of Hawaii Kai to be nice and quiet, away from the busy area of Waikiki and yet you can still drive there in about 15 minutes. It takes about 30-40 minutes to reach the beautiful beaches on the windward side in Kailua, which was probably our favorite beach area. We would definitely recommend this rental. If we ever get the change to return to the Island we would stay here again. Mahalo!

A quiet home from home
Hernando and Paulette were gracious and accommodating hosts. They welcomed us into their home and were available when needed. They very kindly provided some food staples for our arrival so that we did not have to rush out and buy provisions straight away.
The property was exactly as described in the listing. Very comfortable and perfect for our family. The parking is right outside. The area is very quiet but only 5 mins away from restaurants, supermarkets (Safeway and Costco), and not too far from the centre of Waikiki.
They have tried to provide everything a family would need for their stay. The kids loved the pool, which was very clean. They even went out of their way to try and help - my son broke his sunglasses and we asked Hernando if he had any Superglue to hand, which he did not. However he went out and purchased some glue so that we could try and repair our son's glasses, which was so kind.
Thank you Paulette and Hernando for a lovely stay in Honolulu, we will definitely be recommending your property to any of our friends wanting to visit Hawaii. Mahalo.
