Beautiful property

  • 5 of 5

Tucked away cottage was a fabulous home from home, really nicely presented cottage. On arrival a tray of tea and a cake was left for us in the kitchen a really nice touch. The cottage was decorated to a beautiful standard a very warm homely place to stay.

superb little seaside gem! all you could ask for in a holiday property

  • 5 of 5

lovely, clean and delightful property, ideal location for exploring the Devon and Dorset coast. light and airy, with a lovely little garden to enjoy the evening sun. A good selection of DVDs to watch if the weather is not so good , The kitchen was well equipped.

If you require a seven day parking permit for the car park next to the house, I would recommend getting one from the TIC centre before arrival as we had problems with the ticket machine in the car park. Would happily stay there again and recommend to family and friends.

Cosy and comfortable cottage, quiet location with the town center and sea almost on the doorstep.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying at the cottage it was cosy and comfortable and was in a peaceful location, literally just behind the centre of town and the promenade close by. Seaton was pleasant enough, the people were certainly friendly. The town could do with a few more places to eat out, there were a couple of Indian restaurants and a steak house, which is worth a visit, but there were also a couple of fish and chip shops and Chinese takeaways. There was a huge superstore within walking distance though which was very convenient and it is close to a number of seaside towns and villages so there are plenty of alternatives if you don't mind driving. Lyme Regis is a lovely town with plenty of independent shops and West Bay and the famous cliffs are both worth a visit, amongst a number of other places.

We'd definitely stay in the cottage again, it really was peaceful, cosy and comfortable.
