About Sean Butcher
I originate from Newmarket in England and have nearly 30 years professional experience in Property and Real Estate. I have also been a private landlord for more than 25 years. I currently work as a Projects Manager in the East of England and also run a small property business. An opportunity to work overseas between 2008-11 helped me to fulfill a lifetimes dream to own a holiday home in Spain. Having realized this dream, I take great pride in making sure that we provide exceptional customer service and always ensure that our properties are presented and maintained to the highest standards, with friendly and amenable supporting services. I hope that you enjoy the apartment and the picturesque region of Murcia as much as I do.

Why Sean Butcher chose Sucina
I was introduced to the region of Spain in 2004 and was very impressed with the area. It is really easy to get to, has sympathetic low density development in a beautiful rural conservation area and in the Mar Menor has a unique micro climate with well over 300 days of sunshine per year. Murcia is also rich in Spanish culture as evidenced by the traditional nearby town of Sucina which includes plenty of quality restaurants and bars. Murcia is also an up and coming region and is destined to become the Leisure Centre of Spain with the construction of Paramount Theme Parke in Alhama de Murcia, the largest biggest theme park in Spain.
What makes this Apartment unique

The apartment has a terrace area which is fully enclosed with a solar control glass curtain and furnished with the most recent stylish rattan furniture set. An external garden area laid in Thermowood Decking, includes sun loungers and a barbecue and is only a few steps away, from a large swimming pool shared by only a small number of apartments.

The apartment was in a perfect position overlooking the pool and golf course the owner has gone above and beyond to make this a perfect place to stay
Lovely apartment on a great site. Plenty to do and lots of local places to visit. Apartment was clean and comfortable, great access to the pool.
All was as we were informed and apartment was lovely decked out and spacious.
Management company was also superb.
Second time in this apartment and I'll probably be back again.
Perfect location in terms of proximity to the club house for golf of course, but also for the supermarket, bar and restaurant. The food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Eg main of pasta with king prawns, garlic and chilli with two glasses of wine, 16 euros in total.
Other restaurants and a tapas place in nearby Sucina.
Also great location for trips out to The Mar Menor or to Murcia city or to Cartagena.
The apartment has everything that you will need. The course was in good condition and the greens were quick. Weather was fantastic again, so all in all a great stay.
Stayed over the February half term and very much enjoyed the apartment. Very well kept, really good furniture and all the household utensils you could ever need. Location is quiet (we liked that), but you definitely need a car to get to and from places. Booking couldn't have been easier and Sean's information pack was spot on.
Only two minor downsides- pool was shut for repairs while we were there (might have been too cold anyway!) and on site management company didn't reply to several calls about small problem with air conditioning.
However, didn't spoil what was a lovely break and would definitely recommend the apartment...
Lovely apartment in a very secure golf complex
The apartment was well equipped, had very comfortable beds and a great shower room. It was in a good position on the site. Close to both the entrance and the club house. A walk into the village of Sucina took about 45 minutes.
Ours was a winter let and, whilst the weather was mostly lovely during the day, it was cold at night and the central heating was definitely required.
Bring a longish term let it was good to have both wi-fi and some English TV channels.
The golf course was very good, as was the security.
Would recommend staying here for a nice golf break.
The Costa Calida has a stunning Mediterranean coastline with an average temperature of 21c and 320 days of sunshine a year. Our Apartment is a 20 minute drive to the Mediterranean coast and to the Mar Menor, (Europe's largest salt water lagoon with more than 170km2 lukewarm water), flanked by numerous sandy beaches and long promenades to stroll along. The shallow waters and warm winds of the Mar Menor make it ideal for sailing, canoeing, jet skiing, diving, windsurfing and kite boarding.
The course at Hacienda Riquelme is a Jack Nicklaus Design and is the largest offered by Polaris World. This superb 18 hole, par 72 golf course has approximately 6300 meters from the farthest tee and forms part of the challenging Nicklaus golf trail (9 Jack Nicklaus Designed courses when completed). The fairways of the golf course are surrounded by olive trees, fields of wild flowers and 5 lakes. Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort offers many facilities in the area of golf such as a club house, pro-shop and driving range. As a guest at the resort you will have full access to the facilities. There is also a wide choice of other golf courses in the area including the Peraleja Golf course, designed by Severiano Ballesteros and La Manga.
