I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you again. We had a wonderful time at the resort on Clearwater Beach and your condo was perfect. Everything was done as requested. When we return you can count on it that I will be contacting you.
Such an amazing and restful vacation - we will be booking again this year!
So from the beginning, Sandy was incredibly helpful during booking with answers to all our questions and convenient payment options. All details were thought of, and that extended during our stay.
My wife and I traveled with our 2.5yr old son. Given our prior experiences in hotels, we were looking for a hotel suite or 1 bedroom condo so that we weren't forced to all go to bed when our son went down. Suite 727 was exactly what we were looking for.
The suite is a 1 bedroom apartment on one of the upper floors of a luxury beachfront hotel. Finely appointed and well serviced, from the complimentary valet-parking to the bellhops, to the front desk service and the pool attendants - the amenities and fine touches were comparable to the Lowes Miami Beach.
The full contemporary kitchen had stone counter tops and featured mid/high-level appliances (including dishwasher) and all the dishes, utensils, and prep items (bowls, cutting boards, etc.) - they even have a toaster. The best part of the kitchen was that there is a Publix grocery store up the road (1.5miles) so we were able to stock up on some groceries and eat some of our meals in and have plenty of snacks for our toddler. It really worked out amazing.
Dining area had a large dining table - worked well when we ate meals in and also doubled as my desk when I needed to log in on the complimentary wifi.
The living was comfortable. One of the concerns traveling with our son is that certain furniture will result in either an injured child or damaged furniture. Everything in the suite was comfortable but not a concern for parents. Flat screen tv served its purpose, the DVD player was nice to have - disney DVD's are a stable or our travel bag ;).
The bathroom was luxury hotel level with a whirlpool bathtub separate shower. The in-room washer/dryer was small but incredibly convenient.
Bedroom was awesome. Very comfortable hotel quality bed and plenty of blankets (AC is nice and chilly!). Sandy was so kind to leave a pack and play for our son to sleep in. She also left him this cute stuffed dolphin - you can visit the real dolphin its modeled on at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Very thoughtful.
One favorite thing about the Sandpearl - the beachfront pool! It had this gradual entry that was like walking into the water at the beach - perfect for our son.
Incredible overall experience. See you this winter!
My wife and I have rented this unit for a few years and until this year our experience has been fine. This year, however, our stay ended disastrously. We were enjoying our last day at the pool when I went up to our room in the early afternoon to get a new book. Imagine my shock when I found all of our luggage packed up and left in the corridor outside the room. The room card key would not function. I went down to the front desk and was told that since this is a rental unit the hotel has no control over it. I immediately called Sandy, the owner, who told me that checkout time was 11a, the cleaning company had packed all of our belongings, and new renters were in the room. I had my copy of the rental agreement that confirmed that we had one night remaining. I was able to convince Sandy that she was wrong, that she had double-booked the room for one night, but it was clear that we were not getting back into the room even though it was not our fault. So there we are, in our bathing suits, bags unprotected in the hall, with thousands of dollars in camera gear, jewelry, cash, etc. available for whoever walked by. This was a Friday, spring break is starting, the Sandpearl hotel is sold out, and we have no room for the night. Sandy reluctantly agreed to try to find us something, but the real stars were the staff of the Sandpearl. They quickly got our bags under control and found us a room at their sister resort Opal Sands just down the road, working with us to ease our stress.
I had my cell phone with us at the pool; that this would happen without a phone call is simply inexcusable. To have someone go through all of our things, discard food and wine left in the refrigerator. and not even attempt to reach out to us is a terrible way to do business. Sandy refunded our last night's rental amount, the absolute minimum that was required. This is no way to treat a customer. Needless to say, we will never rent this unit again.
My wife and I had the pleasure of renting this fantastic high-end condo/suite in the Sandpearl Resort on Clearwater Beach, Florida. Everything was as advertised or better! The suite was extremely clean and beautifully furnished and decorated. For those not familiar, the Sandpearl Resort is the finest luxury hotel/condominium complex on Clearwater Beach.
The pool and beach at the Sandpearl were the best I saw anywhere in Clearwater Beach! There are great restaurants, room service, and all the other amenities one might expect from a high-end resort. And the suite has comfortable furniture, two furnished outdoor balconies, and two flat screen TVs with nearly 100 cable channels, including all the premium ones.
The Sandpearl is located just a couple blocks from the bridge and causeway connecting Clearwater Beach to the mainland, and there are dozens of fantastic restaurants, shops, and other places worth checking out within a short walk.
The owner is great to deal with, and very accommodating. Plus she is always available by phone, though we did not have a single problem while we were there.
The Sandpearl has great people and fantastic service, and they are always available, too.
We are already looking ahead to find a time to come back again. It was tremendous! Thanks to the owner, who was very gracious. We'd highly recommend this place.
We had the pleasure of spending Memorial Day weekend in this lovely suite. Because it's located in the hotel, you get the great balance of really great service with room to spread out and not being disturbed. Our family of four (children 7 and 11) found this suite to be perfectly suited to us. We parked the car Friday when we got there and didn't get in the car again until Monday when we left. There are so many restaurants and fun things to do within walking distance. Our first day, we walked to breakfast at the Beach Shanty which has amazing food -- my son raved about their homemade coconut syrup! We walked to the marina and rented jetskis and toured around the beach and around toward Honeymoon Island. We ate lunch at the Bait House and walked back. We watched a wedding from our balcony and took in the beautiful sunset. Sunday, we spent nearly the whole day at the pool, which has some great food and beverages (highly recommend the mai tai!). There were a bunch of activities for the kids, including ping pong, slip and slide, and hoola hopping contests. They had ice cream, popsicles, etc. at the activities desk for the kids and it's all included in your stay! It was a holiday weekend, so getting chairs at the pool was a little of a challenge, but we managed to get some together and everyone staying at the resort was just so friendly and the service as well!! Lucky for us, the suite has beach stuff, so we grabbed the chairs and a boogie board and headed to the beach in the late afternoon on Sunday so the kids could jump waves and pick some shells. There's also buckets and things in there if you were to spend a more significant time at the beach. It's a quick walk downstairs. You can rent beach chairs/umbrellas, but they are a little far from the water in my opinion. It's better just to use what Sandra has in the room and pick your own spot! Dinner was at Clear Sky Beachside cafe. Holy moly it was delicious. Our children slept on the pull out couch and we took the bedroom. Everything was sooooo comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much anything you might need to cook and enjoy the day. We just made pancakes one day. The only thing it doesn't have is coffee -- there are coffee makers. We just didn't bring coffee (how could we forget!!?). So, if that's important, either bring it, or you can grab coffee in the lobby at the Starbucks. Or walk to Dunkin Donuts which isn't that far either. We will definitely be back!!
My husband and i stayed for a week and it was just perfect for us. The suite is very comfortable and furnished beautifully. The location is great, you can walk to many shops and restaurants. It's beach front and the sand was so soft and white with plenty of chairs and staff to accommodate your needs. The staff is amazing. We would love to go back.
Wonderful vacation at the Sand Pearl resort and this beautiful suite. This was our second year in a row staying at The Sand Pearl and the first time stayed in one of the “hotel rooms”. We found Sandy’s suite and we are so glad we did but may never be able to stay in just a “hotel room” again! We found this suite very comfortable. It is much larger than a hotel room and having the full kitchen made meals much easier. We did stop at my favorite supermarket, Publix on Island Way on the way in so we were able to utilize the kitchen for easy breakfast and lunch. This suite is very well maintained and also has a very nice living room area, large bedroom w/ king size bed and great bathroom with two sinks, a jetted tub and walk-in shower. The suite also has two very nice flat screen TVs so we could watch different shows! Sandy was very responsive and easy to work with to book this suite. She also followed up to make sure everything was OK! We are looking forward to booking this suite again soon!
