We had a great time during our stay in the wood cabin. The owner could not be more friendly and helpful. The kitchen, the bathroom and the cabin are clean and well equipped with appliances.
We had good fishing experience on the lake.
Thanks for a fantastic norwegian holiday experience.
Thanks for your stay and for the tips on how to unhook a pike!. Your are most welcome a next time.
So cozy and well furnished.
We wished we could stay longer. The only negative is the tiny beds -- no way to push those twin beds together for a couple. Owners are friendly and accommodating.
Really cozy cabin with everything that could possibly be needed for anybody.
We stayed 4 nights and was very impressed. The kitchen has everything and more which was good because we did cook quite a lot and had a BBQ. The log fire was so warm with plenty of wood to use, the living area was a real home away from home, not stark at all. It rained a lot during our stay so we didn`t make use of the outside table and chairs etc, but we did tour round and walked to the lake and the forest areas and rowed in the boat. The cabin is very well located for many of the local towns only a short driving distance.
The only negative for me which I feel could be improved are the beds which could perhaps be upgraded. The 2 singles when pushed together are not the same size/level leaving an unequal gap. However the positives of this cabin far outweighed this negative and did not impinge on my overall quality of time staying there. We as a family really hope to stay again there in the future. Thank you to the hosts for providing such a great place.
Thanks for you stay and we are happy to hear you had a good time. You are the first guests to connect the beds, so that was something new for us also. But as long as the quality and not the hight of the beds is ok, then I think that is a minor problem as you mentioned. Welcome back again!.
Very nice house. Wonderful hosts. I strongly recom
We rested in this beautiful house at the end of August. The house is made with lots of love. The hosts are very hospitable and friendly people. The weather was good. Sometimes there was a strong wind, a little hurt to catch a pike, which is found there in abundance. A lot of mushrooms and berries. The house is perfect for a family with one or two children. Be sure to try to come here again. Many thanks to the owners and I loved Norway.
Thanks for you stay and the picture of the huge pike you cought! You are most welcome back again with your friends.
Idyllic secluded home-from-home
We really appreciated the way that Joost and Kristin had thoughtfully sought to set the cabin up with everything you could need for comfortable home living. The location is charming and tranquil. The cabin warms up very well with the wood stove. Joost was very attentive to all our needs, getting extra wood when needed and providing good humoured conversation when he visited. The location is very good for exploring lakes and places of interest up to Lillehammer. The wi-fi works well and keeps you connected if needed, whilst the location and environment keep you far away from the pressures of daily urban life. We highly recommend the place for a break from daily grind.
Thanks for your stay. We really enjoyed having you and are looking forward to greating you again a next time.

Perfect cosy cabin
We had a wonderful stay in this cosy cabin during wintertime. Everything was as described, the kitchen very well equipped. We especially liked the fireplace and the WLAN ;). Kristin and Joost were very considerate hosts, we would definitely book again if we travel there again.
