Your Casita, in Pine Country!
About Georgette Sandt
Georgette (Coco) has lived in Prescott since the mid 1970s. In the past, Coco has been a business owner, operating a large consignment store off the Courthouse Square. She and her husband Steven built this Casita in 2002, and occupied it until just recently, having completed construction on a new 1200 sq. ft. home. It has always been our plan to retire in Prescott and run a vacation rental property.
Georgette Sandt purchased this Studio in 1995
Why Georgette Sandt chose Prescott
Arizona has many varied landscapes, from the Sonoran Desert to the Ponderosa Pines. Prescott is situated at approx. a mile in altitude, and as such is the most temperate spot in this beautiful state. Always a good 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix, yet with only a couple of light snow days a year, warmer in winter than Flagstaff. We bought this property because of its location in downtown Prescott, adjacent to Granite Creek and close to all the things that one needs to access, like restaurants, entertainment, shopping, library and the beautiful grounds of the County Courthouse Square. The property is one half block from the trail head for the Granite Creek Trail, which leads through downtown, providing access to Whiskey Row and the Courthouse Square, and ends up at the former Prescott RR Station where you will find Walgreens, Sprouts, Chipotle's and many other fine shops within walking distance.

A jewel in Prescott
This is our second stay here and we love it. Thanks to the kind hospitality of Steven and Coco.
My wife and I spent 5 weeks in this amazing home. I'm handicapped and there were no stairs to navigate for entry into the home, this place was perfect for me. The location was perfect for making day trips out to see the gorgeous Arizona sights. It is located very close to Prescott's historic city center with great restaurants. Steven and Coco were wonderful hosts, greeting us with a welcome basket of snacks when we arrived. Fresh towels and linens were always available and Coco was so kind to check with us before coming over with fresh supplies. It rained one day during our stay so we watched TV -- regular, satellite, Netflix, etc. Steven really wired the Casita for lots of TV choices. The wifi worked very well without any interruptions. We really enjoyed our vacation time in Prescott and we give it our highest recommendation for anyone interested in a visit.
Ralph (Steve) and Laurie are perfect guests! They took excellent care of property. Communication was prompt and clear. They were more than considerate of our house requests. It was a great pleasure to host Steve and Laurie, we would welcome back them back anytime!
Pleasant stay in the Casita
We enjoyed our stay in the Casita! Very nicely furnished and well stocked. Exactly as described in the listing and photos. Close to Whiskey Row and downtown-we were able to walk to dinner and a concert. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others.
Clean, convenient, private: just perfect!
We loved the place. It was clean, quiet and had all the amenities. Really appreciated the snacks and coffee. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks Coco and Steven.
