The gorgeous oceanfront paradise of Papakea expands over 13 acres of fish-filled lagoons, quaint bridges, beautiful lawns and colorful tropical landscaping. The exquisite burl furniture adds elegance which is rare in a Maui condo. As you lie in your studio's luxuriously comfortable pillow-top king-sized bed, nestled behind a fish pond and sprinkling waterfall, the tall foliage makes you feel you are the only ones on the island. Yet you can relax on your lanai and still see the ocean beyond the beautiful swimming pool.
The first thing you notice about the kitchen, in addition to all the latest appliances, is the large cream stone Bali bowl which not only serves as a very effective kitchen sink, but a wonderful conversation piece that contrasts with the deep green granite counters. Papakea C-107 provides great luxury at an affordable price. For more pictures or info, please go to the bottom of this page to click on the link to our personal website or the youtube link for a video of the unit and property.
With the gorgeous ocean beaches and beachfront restaurants only a short walk from your door, you may instead choose to play miniature golf on one of the two professionally landscaped putting greens, play on one of the two oceanfront shuffleboard courts, play tennis on the lighted court, snorkel and take pictures of colorful fish right off the beach, or take a dip into one of the two beautiful pools or hot tubs. Or you may want to take either a free swimmercize or yoga class or make some new friends in the round-robin tennis tournaments!
You can drive a couple of miles to a choice of championship golf courses - Kapalua or Kaanapali - or take a ferry to the island of Lanai for the Challenge of Manele. Your choice of water activities is endless. It's hard work having so much fun, so you may want to relax in one of Papakea's lawn chairs to enjoy the amazing sunset at the water's edge before making the difficult decision of which of the many first-class restaurants you will choose. Two of Maui's restaurants, Lahaina Grill and Mama's Fish House, were just named in the top 25 restaurants in the U.S.
At the end of the day, sink into your luxurious bed, (guest after guest claims it is the most comfortable they have every slept in), pull out the room copy of Maui Revealed and plan your next day in Paradise!

Great condo! We love the location of the Papakea, it is the second time I have stayed here.
Papakea is by far our favorite resort and this condo was perfect for my husband and I! It was clean and had everything we could ever need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed nothing more than watching the sunsets and snorkeling the amazing beaches nearby!
The complex was nice and we would go back again. The condo needs updating and to be better maintained. First thing once arrived was we had to clean the filters for the air conditioner as well as the bathroom vent they were caked with dirt. They both spitting out dirt particles when we turn them on. After that was taken care of things were OK. The cable & phones went out for a few days because of the wild fires on the island, which was no fault of the owner. We were there with our daughters family, they were in the same complex but a few buildings over from us. We were at their place most of the time. Their 2 bedroom condo was just beautiful. The complex could use more grills though, people would be grilling between 4-7 pm and leave the grill unattended while their food cooked. Just not cool man !!
This condo was not only very clean, but it was very beautifully designed in the Hawaiian spirit and this condo was also very comfortable. Being near the koi ponds and waterfalls/sprinklers just outside our sliding door - it was so relaxing. This condo is also near the pool and all recreation areas of the resort. The resort also has a welcome presentation on our first morning which helped us to get to know the island better and our surrounding areas of the island. The conciliar set us up with all kinds of outings that were either near to the resort or picked us up at the office in a tour bus...super convenient for us. The staff of the resort were really nice and helpful if we had any questions too. WE LOVED OUR STAY HERE! This condo made our Hawaiian Honeymoon everything we were hoping for...we finally found a place that we didn't want to leave, and we surely didn't want to go back to the mainland and our everyday lives...lol :)
WARNING: DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM ADVANTAGE RENT-A-CAR!!! We rented a car from Advantage Rent-a-Car, and because we pre-rented the car (a sedan) through Obitz.com and got a discount in price, and did not see a need for damage insurance (which cost 3 times the rental price) they gave us the worst vehicle on the lot (seriously!), lots of scratches and dents, when we refused that car, then they gave us a little Hyundai Accent (compact car, not a sedan we wanted)... When we returned the car at the end of our visit, my husband accidently left his Samsung S5 smart phone in the door pocket of the driver side to get our luggage out from the back seat and trunk, we got to the airport when he realized he forgot it, it showed on my S6 smartphone/Life360 tracking that it was still at Advantage. He went directly back there and they had already cleaned the car, they denied they had it and wouldn't give it back, he didn't have time to call police or argue too much as he only had minutes to return to the airport or we would have missed our flight. And because we were in airplane mode over night and they used it past midnight, when we reported it to AT&T as STOLEN and shut it down (next morning), our insurance would not cover it because it was stolen one day and actively used the next, so we still have to make the payments on the S5 as it was only 6 months old, Advantage staff in Maui are thieves!!! We're just glad this happened at the end of our trip and not before as it would have spoiled our honeymoon.
If you've never been to the Papakea before, do yourself a favor and book it...now. No, this isn't your typical resort with a bar, a restaurant, complete gym facility, and a pool DJ taking your requests. But if that's what you're looking for, maybe you should ask yourself why you are headed to the gorgeous island of Maui in the first place?
The Papakea is exactly the perfect place to do what we all say we want to do when on vacation: RELAX! Two pools (one heated and one not) help separate the 'kids & family' section of folks from the rest. Two shuffleboard games, two large putting greens, and two tennis courts allow for some variety of entertainment. And the ocean front view is just spectacular - with a public beach a mere 2 min walk in either direction past the property line.
Unit c-107 itself is nothing over the top...just a standard ground level studio unit with a full kitchen, W&D, beach towels, a king bed and all the rest of the little amenities you may need. The lanai looks out on the northernmost grounds with the ocean a short distance away and you'll have the relaxing ambiance of the koi pond fountain to put you to sleep at night. Bring some cards and check the fridge before going shopping (ABC and a supermarket are both a stones throw away) so you can sip some coffee in the morning or have a cold drink on the lanai at night. The only downside (aside from leaving too soon) is the shower head leaves much to be desired!
This is paradise, folks! Soak it up.
A beautiful property with many amenities. The ocean views and access are awesome. Many food options and destinations nearby and easy drive. Room had all we needed and was well maintained.
Papakea is just minutes away from both Whalers Village and Lahaina, where you can shop, enjoy meals at first-class restaurants, or just go out for a night on the town. Parking immediately behind C107 is a great convenience.
The resort is located near the uncrowded northern end of top rated Ka'anapali Beach with four championship golf courses nearby. There is great snorkeling right in front of the resort, two pools with spa tubs, two putting greens, a lighted tennis court, and a dozen grills set within 13 acres of tropical splendor dotted with koi ponds. A bridge leads to a property with an oceanfront cafe and a children's camp. Yoga, pilates and swim workouts are complimentary and surfing classes are available for a surcharge.
The lush waterfall with craggy rocks, moss, and palms immediately outside your glass sliding door, explodes on your wall of mirrors which brings this lovely tropical garden view inside in a dramatic way. The tropical splendor outside your unit beckons you to explore. Take a stroll across your lanai to the edge of the koi pond in front of your unit. Stand on the little bridge and watch the calming motion of the many different colored koi in the pond. Now look out over the grounds of Papakea and enjoy the manicured grounds the colored flower beds, the putting greens, and coconut palms.
Walk over to the Molokai pool tiled to appear as if you are swimming with beautiful fish. Take a dip or relax in the hot tub or sauna. Papakea offers swimmercize lessons three mornings a week in addition to yoga lessons. Or you can check out shuffleboard or putting equipment from the Front Desk or snorkel or play in the ocean waves roaring right beside you. You can barbecue and picnic by the pool while you enjoy the never-ending waves that roll into Papakea's beach.
You are on the Molokai side of Papakea and there is a mirror image on the Lanai side just a few steps away with more tropical gardens, the Lanai Pool, another 18 hole putting green and oceanfront shuffleboard.
Your Papakea unit blends seclusion with the convenience of being right across the street from the best grocery store in the area, Times Market, a snorkel shop, delicatessen, Mexican Restaurant, real estate office, coffee shop, "make-your-own-pancakes" restaurant called Slappy Cakes, therapeutic massage, fish market, sub shop, Italian restaurant, fishing and tackle shop, and many more.
