About the property

3/4 Bedroom Villa Set Amongst Mature Oak Trees In A Small Devopment In Kissimmee

Our holiday villa is located in Kissimmee about 30 minutes drive to all the theme parks in Orlando. The detached single storey villa is set amongst mature oak trees and backs on to an orange grove and as such is not overlooked. The villa is within easy reach of major supermarkets, shopping malls, a wide range of restaurants situated on Highway 192 which is around half a mile from the villa.

The villa has 3/4 bedrooms ( 2 double beds. two twin beds and a double sofa bed) and can sleep up to 8 persons BUT id ideal for a group of 6.. Master bedroom has an en-suite and there is a family bathroom with a bath tub and shower. All the linen and towels are available for guests.

There is an open plan living room, dining room and kitchen with all the necessary appliances, utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. There is also wi-fi access. Washing machine and dryer are located in the double garage.

Kissimmee is only a 40 minute drive from Orlando International Airport and aroung 60 minutes from Sanford International Airport where charter flights from the UK regularly fly to.

The villa has its own private, screened swimming pool which can be heated as an optional extra.

The property is managed by a Avril Herbertm of Florida Escape Management who will be available to offer any assistance during your stay.

About Ray Dias

My name is Ray Dias, married to Sue for the past 45 years. We have three grown up children and two grandsons. We have been going to the USA for many years as we have family in Washington DC and New York. Our family particularly like Florida, therefore the decision to purchase the villa in Kissimmee. We have been holidaying in our Florida since it was built for us in 1994. The villa is primarily used by family and friends with occasional rental. This is the first time we decided to advertise.

Why Ray Dias chose Disney / Orlando

Unlike some other developments in Florida where trees are cut down before building homes and then landscape, Whispering Oaks has kept the beauty of the mature oaks and homes were built amongst these magnificent trees giving much needed shade and adding charm to the development.

Though 22 years old we try to maintain the villa to a good standard with regular maintenance programme. If you prefer a quiet tranquil setting yet within easy reach of theme parks, restaurants, shops etc our property is ideally situated.

In 2015 we installed new carpets in the bedrooms and new tiled floor in the living areas. In September 2016 we replaced living room and dining room furniture.

Peaceful yet convenient

We rented for the week and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. House is in a very quiet residential area. House is clean and comfortable - contained everything we needed.

Plenty of shops and takeouts within a mile or 2 together will a number of major superstores.

For anyone planning a visit to Disney World, Universal Studios or any of the numerous amusement parks in the Orlando area, this home is just the place! It’s about a 15 minutes drive to Disney. There are 45 grocery stores within 3 miles, several outlet malls close-by. It has everything you could want - tons of golf included.

The home itself is very, very nice. The Master suite is on one side of the house and the 2-3 other bedrooms on the other. The screened in pool allows you to sit with the sliding doors open to the fresh air. The street is very secluded and quiet - yet close to everything you could want or need. The owners are very responsive to any problems that may arise.

The Shingle Creek Recreational park is only 200 meters from the home which offers hiking, biking, paddling trails and picnic areas.
