Our Hyannis home is conveniently located close to the Nantucket Sound Beaches including Craigville Beach (just a 5 minute drive away) known for its wide stretch of sand and warm waters. Relax and enjoy our house! It's located on a double cul-de-sac, off the main roads, in a neighborhood that is great for walks and bike riding. Enjoy the central air conditioning if you need to on those hot summer days! The inside of the house is bright and has an open floor plan. There are cathedral ceilings in the living room and a fireplace. The dining room has double sliders leading to a wood deck and brick patio - great for families and entertaining. Lay on the hammock and take a long nap! The deck and patio seats 6 with table, chairs, and umbrella. There is a combination Gas/Charcoal grill and outdoor enclosed hot/cold shower. Bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, children's sand toys are located in the shed for our guests use. If you must work...bring your laptop...we offer WI-FI Internet access.
Our Hyannis house is located close to beaches: Enjoy the many beaches that Barnstable has to offer when staying at our house. Here is a list of our favorites and a short description.
Kalmus Beach is 3 miles from our house - 9 minutes. Located on the Lewis Bay side of Nantucket Sound, it is considered the best in the Northeast for windsurfing! It also has a picnic area.
Craigville Beach is 1.8 miles from our house - 5 minutes. Warmest waters on the Cape!
Sandy Neck is 7.8 miles from our house - 23 minutes. A 6 mile long coastal barrier beach with dunes, marshes, and wonderful bird life. Great for walking during low tide!
Veterans Park Beach is 2.5 miles from our house - 8 minutes. It is a favorite with families because it has a playground, and shady picnic area. There are grills for cooking.
Sea Street (Keyes Beach) is 1.29 miles from our house - 5 minutes. It is located on the ocean side of Nantucket Sound and has great views out to the Atlantic. Also has a great sand bar during certain tides.

What a great home. Our two younger children had fun with the bikes, sand toys and playroom toys/book. We were comfortable and happy as it was clean, close to everything and had had all the immenities to make you feel at home. Deb has really thought of everything to make this house enjoyable for all who visit. I am sure we will be back! Thanks!
The house was just as described and then some! It was fully stocked with all we needed while away, and the extras were such a help. We now know we do not have to pack our own beach chairs, kids bikes, etc. because Deb has been so thoughtful to leave them for guests to use. The playroom in the basement was a wonderful surprise, it is so packed with games and toys, my son thought it was Christmas!
We have rented a few homes in the past, but usually find there is an essential missing: comfortable beds, toaster oven, microwave, enough pots/pans, etc. This is NOT the case here. We feel fortunate to have found such a hospitable couple to rent their home. They truly have left their home for people to enjoy! THANKS DEB!
The only downside was the location. I do wish it were a bit closer to some of our favorite spots, but a little Cape traffic could not ruin such a wonderful stay!
We plan to come back each year for as long as they will have us :)
Immaculate but yet comfortable house. Not on beach (enjoy noticeably lower humidity) but really close to everything. Great for kids as the finished downstairs has toys galore (think Romper Room) and the shed outside has multiple bikes (even a tricycle!) and other recreational equipment. An added surprise was that everything in the house worked as it was intended. Plenty of kitchen utensils and more than enough pots and pans. Even multiple lobster pots! Strong air conditioning, very hot stove, large refrigerator, excellent water pressure and well, you get the picture. The outdoor shower was a welcome sight and even that looked as if it was installed the day before. The gas/charcoal grill was as clean as mine at home and having the propane and charcoal there already was a pleasant surprise. The backyard is extremely private and beautifully landscaped. The two story garage (not for renters use) is in front of the house and blends in perfectly with it's surroundings. It isolates the house from the road and affords even more privacy. This home is highly recommended for everyone and is much larger inside than the picture would suggest. We had a family reunion dinner with 11 adults and 5 kids at the house and didn't feel crowded at all. My only wish is that if they decide to sell this house, they call me first.
A fantastic home situated in the heart of Hyannis with easy access to downtown, beaches, and restaurants. It couldn't have been a more relaxing stay. The kitchen is stocked with all the things you would need to prepare your family meals, should you decide to stay in.
The house has a grotto shower and central air conditioning and this is especially nice after we spent a hot and humid day at the beach. The toys and playroom in the downstairs let our kids have their space to make noise while we relaxed upstairs. There is a wonderful backyard for kids to run around and play and a BBQ grill with patio furniture.
The owners were especially helpful pointing out places to go for the kids as well as good restaurants and bakeries.
A perfect home to relax and truly enjoy a Cape vacation.
just wanted everyone that is looking for a rental, this home does not feel like one. It was clean and well maintained, although we have teenage kids, to see that you had toys for all ages was great to see, it's the little things that make the difference. We did have a great stay and to tell you of all the places we have rented including hotels, your home was by far the best.our plans are to return---no questions asked I could sit here and go for hours on the great job you have done. But I know you get my point, keep it up...we will speak soon.... Thanks Carlos and Alice
This house is perfect for a Cape vacation. We found it to be ideally located with only a short drive to the main street of Hyannis or one of the many local beaches. The house was very clean with everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We loved having breakfast out in the patio in the mornings which gets great sunshine or relaxing after dinner in the afternoons which was nice and cool. The surrounding roads were great for running on and the local restaurants offered great food if you fancy a night away from the town. Also the kitchen has everything you'd need to make a perfect meal. Couldn't recommend a better place to stay. Although we didn't have kids staying with us, the basement offers more than enough to keep them busy for days!
Hyannis is one of seven villages within the town of Barnstable and is the largest and most centrally located. Enjoy quick access to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket via the island ferries. Take in a concert at The Cape Cod Melody Tent which is just up the road - walking distance if you choose. The Hyannis Golf Club, Cape Cod Central Railroad, Whale Watcher Cruises, Kennedy Museum, Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory, miniature golf, wonderful restaurants and shops on Main Street are all here for your enjoyment. Area beaches are located at Cape Cod Bay as well as Nantucket Sound. Craigville Beach, which is located in Centerville Harbor, is known for its warm water swimming. Enjoy beach combing for seashells at Sandy Neck and taking advantage of great walks when it is low tide!
Other Activities: Miniature golf, bumper boats, whale watching, museums, gardens, touring historic sites, duckmobile rides and water parks.
