Convenient apartment in Grimentz
We enjoyed our three nights in this compact two bedroom apartment in August 2019.
Be prepared for some nail biting driving on the hairpin roads to get there.
We were late to our agreed check in time due to airport delays and traffic on the route so we picked up the key and instructions from a designated place and had to find the apartment ourselves, which was fine as they were very clear instructions.
Apartment comes with a car parking space. It’s in an apartment block on the first floor and has a little balcony - just enough space to sit out at a little table for four. It isn’t private and you do feel overlooked by the other balconies.
Unfortunately there is building work going on directly opposite the balcony which spoils the view slightly, but the views of the hills to the left and right are nice.
The apartment was furnished with everything we needed and the kitchen was perfect for making meals. Lovely big mugs for tea too. There was a dishwasher and a few dishwasher tablets, equipment for cleaning and a nespresso machine along with toaster, microwave, pots pans crockery etc etc. Everything in the apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable - the 120CHF hire cost for bed linen and towels however was extremely unpleasant!
The cable car station was just down the path from the apartment - 2 minute walk - and with the discount cards provided by the homeowners the tickets were half price.
Grimentz is a very beautiful little village complete with traditional wooden chalets, beautiful floral displays everywhere you go and the people were all extremely friendly. The village is on a little loop which from the apartment is in short walking distance. The coop supermarket which has everything you need is just beyond the cable car station. The prices, as with everything is Switzerland, are extremely high and not what we are used to in the UK - small pack of minced meat 8CHF for example!
All in all, a really lovely stay and would recommend.
Lovely apartment, right on the ski piste
Very clean & cosy, comfy sofa & well equipped kitchen. Woodburner is a nice touch - we'd have used it if staying for longer. Underground parking is useful if it snows. Owners very helpful in providing information for key collection & apartment location, also local 'what's on' info.

Very nice & clean apartment
Very nice, clean and spacious apartment. Alli was very friendly & helpful. Nice views from the balcony & close to the attractions and comes with a pass which will give you free ride on few cable cars. We enjoyed staying there..
We loved our stay in Grimentz, the apartment seems to be brand new. Everything is spotless and modern and the hosts were fantastic. Great living room, nice open kitchen, bedrooms have lots of storage, and location is great too - a three minute walk from the COOP, etc. Would definitely stay here again, we traveled for four weeks and this was one of our favourites!
This lovely 2 bedroom apartment is situated perfectly, being less than a 5 minute walk to the village of Grimentz and a 2 minute walk to the main lift, or 50 metres from the edge of the piste. The lift is open in summer for walkers and mountain bikers and in winter for skiers.
This is a comfortable and well equipped first floor, 2 bedroom apartment for 4 people. The open plan living room has a wood burning stove, a TV, DVD / CD player and free Wi-Fi internet access. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances including oven, hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, separate freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and raclette grill.
2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin room). The double room has a large wardrobe with drawers and the twin room has a hanging cupboard and a chest of drawers. There is a bathroom with a WC, and a separate WC. There is also a balcony with table and chairs. The apartment benefits from a covered parking space near to the front door.
