Wonderful Spring respite in the mountains!

  • 5 of 5

This place was a wonderful gem tucked away in the mountains. The drive to the cabin (home) was spectacular! The mountain views and wildlife sightings were an added treat! The drive in is by way of well-maintained county roads, so glad the first trip in was by daylight. The cabin is about a 30 minute drive to the nearest grocery stores, so stock up on your way into the cabin. We did, and never left until it was time to go home. We loved sitting on the front porch, grilling by the picnic table in back, and hanging out in the family room with windows all around. We had a turkey visitor! Enjoyed the pool table and closet full of games. Hope to visit again and call this our "home away from home" again in the future. Our wonderful host even mailed me my favorite pillow I left behind.

Great property! Remote but luxurious.

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time at this rental. The pool table offered hours of fun, and the property was fun to explore. The scenic view of the surrounding mountains was great during sunrises and sunsets. Cabin was very clean and basic amenities were available. Grill was also clean and made for a great outdoor dinner. No air conditioning, and we used all the fans and windows during the day. Owner was responsive to our needs.
