Wonderful Spring respite in the mountains!

  • 5 of 5

This place was a wonderful gem tucked away in the mountains. The drive to the cabin (home) was spectacular! The mountain views and wildlife sightings were an added treat! The drive in is by way of well-maintained county roads, so glad the first trip in was by daylight. The cabin is about a 30 minute drive to the nearest grocery stores, so stock up on your way into the cabin. We did, and never left until it was time to go home. We loved sitting on the front porch, grilling by the picnic table in back, and hanging out in the family room with windows all around. We had a turkey visitor! Enjoyed the pool table and closet full of games. Hope to visit again and call this our "home away from home" again in the future. Our wonderful host even mailed me my favorite pillow I left behind.

Loved it! Beautiful cabin, well equipped! So secluded and peaceful!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the cabin, absolutely beautiful inside and out. Such a peaceful and quiet wooded area. Loved watching the sun hit the mountainside at sunset. Plan on being a repeat guest soon.

Beautiful Cabin and Property

  • 5 of 5

We spent three nights at this amazing cabin. Everything you could need was there and available. There were deer wandering the property. We heard wild turkeys calling. The cabin is very well kept. Thanks Lavonne for being so easy to work with. We loved our stay.

Calming and relaxing at the hideaway

  • 5 of 5

This house is amazing! We played pool and games both nights and hiked and enjoyed all the beautiful drives during the day. Everything we needed was there for us and zero complaints.

This should be on top of your list everytime you are looking to get away!

Great getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our goal was to get away for a few days and The Hideaway was a great place for us! We had a great time playing pool in the sunroom and taking walks. Good kitchen with all the cooking tools we needed. We took plenty of groceries as we were not aware of any close grocery stores. I highly suggest The Hideaway if you are looking to relax.
