A family of four from Ohio, (two teenage boys.). Great-grandparents, Grandparents and Parents have been visiting PCB forever. It's tradition. And why not? It's gorgeous and so much to do! When Grandma moved down, we bought a condo, since we knew we would be visiting more often! We know you will enjoy it as much as we do!
The Owner purchased this condo in 2005
We purchased it pre-construction because we loved the location. On the west side of PCB, west of 79, you avoid all of the crazy PCB traffic during the high season. Still an easy drive east to Ripley's and all the kid activities, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. We are just west of Pier Park. Easy drive west to Seaside and Rosemary Beach and not too far from Destin. Across the street is Mike's Diner - and Mike's Oyster Bar! PCB has beautiful white sandy beaches. There is a lower rise condo to the east and nothing immediately to the west, so there is plenty of room to spread out on the beach (unlike some of the bigger condos!) We purchased beach chairs for the SEASON so we hope you enjoy their FREE use! Sit on the beach, or on the balcony and marvel at the gorgeous sunsets, watch the dolphins and sting rays go by. I wish I was there right now!
his is an owner - management assisted condo. We are assisted by a very friendly rental manager, and we do not add hidden fees that you will see with the big rental management companies.
We fell in love with the huge balcony. It curves out so you can see East and West. Extra large dining table outside sits 8, invite your new friends over, and light the hurricaine lamps! We have left the kids' toys' in the condo for your use - boogie boards, sand castle equipment, games, puzzles, books and videos.
Professionally decorated with class, in neutral calming tones, and a couple of fun surprizes. No cheap uncomfortable furniture or tacky pictures! We visit too as much as we can! This is NOT just a rental. It's our second home.
This was a great place for an extended getaway with friends! The condo is tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable stocked with everything you need; just bring the food. The owners have a supply of books, movies and games for renters to enjoy. Close to wonderful places to shop and eat and a short drive to Seaside. Mike's Diner is perfect for breakfast! The beach is soft and white and the water clear. The ocean is usually very still so daily sightings of dolphins is not uncommon. The waves were plentiful and very high 4 of the 5 days of our stay making for beautiful pictures and a very enjoyable time on the balcony. It's a great place for a romantic getaway, family vacation or a getaway with friends. The beach rental staff was very nice and the accommodations perfect with a fitness room, 2 pools (one indoor-outdoor), a hot tub and 2 grills. This is the 2nd time we have rented this condo and it will not be our last!
My family loved our week in this great condo. Balcony was amazing. Condo was the cleanest we have ever stayed in and we loved the well stocked kitchen. We will be returing to this condo next year.
The owner was very responsive to inquiries both before and during our stay. The condo is lovely and everything worked well. The AC is really good! The balcony is wonderful; what a great view! Beds were very comfy. The only thing that could use some improvement would be the couch, it sags in the middle, but we were on the beach most of the time and worked around it. The front row beach chairs/umbrella added so much to the stay and the beach service guys are really outstanding!
We had a wonderful time and did not want to leave. From the location of the condo to the cleanliness to it being well stocked, we enjoyed it from the time we opened the door. We are ready to return to 1509 next year on our trip to the beach.
There is no recent review of this condo so wanted anyone to know this is a wonderful resort and condo. The balcony and view is amazing. Great to have morning coffee and meals there. Icemaker works well and always had ice. Beds are very comfortable. It was very clean and furniture comfy. Did not have to use the sofa couch. There is everything you need to fix your meals. Air conditioner worked wonderfully. The tv had a great selection of channels. There is closet with games and some beach toys.
Having the front row beach service was wonderful. The chairs there are comfortable and the service out there is fantastic. The gentleman made sure we were in the shade and constantly was adjusting to accommodate the baby.
Short distance to get to supermarkets and all sorts of restaurants to go to.
I booked only two weeks in advance. I was really stressed out about that but the manager was great and it all worked out well.
This area is really great. Sand is white and soft. The water is shallow and soft sand bottom with no rocks and very little seaweed. Being high season I was surprised at how uncrowded this beach was compared to others nearby. I would definitely come back here and if I do I hope they will agree to let us rent from this condo again. They also have a walkway across the road to get to the garage. That is a great setup. The parking spaces are quite large . The resort does charge $20 dollars and it was well worth it. The elevators are really fast too. No issues with them . Just realize you need to bring soap, few garbage bags, toilet paper. Nothing unexpected from us. We left what we didn't use and we had some coffee filter and coffee from previous owner. Best to look to see what you need. Loved it here !
The condo was great! The pics of it were accurate. It housed 5 ppl very comfortably. The view of the gulf was beautiful, once the algae went away! Great weather :) The elevator was slow and worked part of the time. We went to the Back Porch restaurant in Pier Park our first night. It was real good! The Boar's Head was good, but over priced. Lots of shops at Pier Park and also on the main drag. It's best to go shopping during the day, when everyone is at the beach. At night time, it gets real crowded. We will need to figure out the trolley system the next time we visit. We also rented a pontoon boat and went to Shell Island. The sand/water was just beautiful. We took the kids downtown to a fun land, where they had go-carts, arcade, miniature golf and other activities. We would definitely stay at this condo again!
Panama City Beach is famous for its white sandy beaches and emerald blue ocean waters. The area has so much to offer, including fantastic golfing opportunities, jet skiing and parasailing, world class deep sea fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. The condo is a very short drive to the new Pier Park - you can enjoy this beautiful outdoor mall without being in the middle of the congestion. Outlet shopping and antiquing opportunities are nearby. The wonderful Boar's Head restaurant is a block away. And don't forget the kid's favorites - Pirate, Dolphin and Shell Island cruises and Gulf World. Great restaurants are easy to find - a local favorite, Capt. Andersons, was voted best seafood restaurant in the south by Southern Living readers. A guest informational binder is included in the unit with brochures, menus and recommendations (including where to find the best take out shrimp!)
Other Activities: sand volleyball
