Cute place and very nice owner!
We spent a week here and loved the location of the unit. It was easy to get to and a short walk to many restaurants inside the walled city. The biggest complaint is parking. Inside the wall was only paid and local parking. We ended up parking outside for free. It was uncovered street parking and about a 10 minute walk. However, we found it wasn’t an issue to pull-up to the apartment to load/unload our luggage. We would definitely recommend for a stay in Lucca. Patrizia was very nice and checked up on us to make sure everything was going well.
Thank you for your review. Yes parking in the downtown is a bit complicated for non residents. Luckily leaving the car outside of the wall is safe and free.
We loved our stay in this very lovely, very clean apartment that overlooks a walled garden. The apartment is well-positioned relative to the train station, the best gelato place in Lucca, and of course, everything inside the wall since Lucca is small. We found Lucca to be very charming, and found it very easy to while away several days there, walking the wall, eating well, and interacting with many friendly shopkeepers. The apartment owner, Patrizia, was very kind and very available to answer questions - she was great! We would definitely stay here again and plan to return to Lucca as it was one of our favorite stops in Italy.
Great Hosts, Great Location
Great Location inside the city walls. Really enjoyed our stay!
Thank you Matthew!
Living la Dolce Vita!
We had two weeks in this lovely, well-equipped apartment. Patrizia collected us from the bus station and Barbara took us back to the train station. The bed was comfortable, the sheets clean, and there was plenty of storage space. The air conditioning was efficient which was just as well as we were experiencing temperatures of 27 in the middle of the night.
All appliances were modern and in working order. There was no skimping or meanness in the provision of services. When one of the bikes burst a tyre, Barbara had it repaired within a day. We are very likely to return.
Thank you Patricia for your review. We hope to have you here again! Patrizia
Comfortable and Clean Apartment!
Great location, easy walk to all sites, and bike rentals around the corner (the bikes provided worked well too). My family of 5 stayed comfortably in this clean, bright, well equipped apartment. It has beautiful floors and windows and nice decor. The beds were comfortable. The building felt safe with keyed entryway to foyer and only a few apartments. As advertised, has two flights of stairs with good lighting. Wifi and AC worked well. Washer came in handy. Patrizia was friendly and accommodating and assisted us to and from the train station.
Great visit to Lucca with our toddler
What a great place to stay! Patrizia greeted us at the train station after a long journey from Paris. She made us feel welcome and helped us find many things in the city. The apartment was just like the photos showed, except, it seemed bigger! Each day was 32C outside but the apartment stayed cool. Our toddler loved running around and opening the fridge.
Definitely recommend this to a small family or couple!
true, smaller groups stay definitely more comfortable, we discourage groups of 5 adults. I am happy that you enjoyed your stay!
