About Ginger Howard
We bought this cabin as a vacation get away for family and friends. Since then we have had the opportunity to live here full time! Our family uses the cabin often, so the kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfy. We love to hike and kayak and cook dinners for the family. We have two grown children who live in San Francisco and Oakland.
Ginger Howard purchased this Cabin in 2001
Why Ginger Howard chose Tetonia
This area of Idaho, Wyoming and Montana is just gorgeous. There are so many beautiful areas to visit - mountains, waterfalls, rivers, fields of wildflowers, throughout the summer, great snow all winter - you will want to be outdoors every day. Late spring is the best time to see the animals with their new offspring, and October brings the spectacular golden 'quaking' leaves on the aspen trees.
What makes this Cabin unique
Quiet, beautiful trees in all seasons, overlooks 2000 acre ranch, rolling hills, yet 7 minute drive to tiny cute town with amazing big grocery, health foods, Austrian pastries at Pendls, more. Hiking trails surround us.

Our stay was lovely! The views were amazing and the little towns were great!!
We had such a wonderful times. Gorgeous little cabin amongst Aspen trees.
What an amazing cabin. We didn’t want to leave. The location of this wonderful place is ideal for being off the beaten path, but still close to everything.
On the drive in there is an awesome view of the Grand Tetons. Never got old.
The cabin itself was very clean, which is a must for us. It was quiet and peaceful. The only sounds were that of the aspens blowing in the wind. We were able to leave the doors open most of the time as they were screened in.
Can’t recommend this cabin enough! It was perfect for the two of us and I hope to return again.
Wonderful Stay in Tetonia
We very much enjoyed our stay at the log cabin in Tetonia! The home is in a beautiful area, surrounded by mountains and gorgeous views. We loved being close to Driggs, but being off the beaten path. The cabin was clean, comfortable and cute inside and out. It was perfect for our little family. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone.
Tidy Little Log Cabin
This little log cabin is a great place for a couple or a small family. The location provides a gateway to Grand Teton Park, Yellowstone Park, and many other activities in Teton Valley. Although we only slept there (we live nearby and gave up our bed to our son and friends who came from Eastern cities for a ski trip), we found the accommodations to be very comfortable. This cabin has history in the area and is very unique. People will enjoy the antiques that decorate this place. I imagine that it would be really nice in the summer. Right now there is a huge amount of snow everywhere (record snowfall this year). Don't hesitate to rent this place. The only (slight) drawback is bringing in your own bottled water for drinking and cooking.
great spot and comfortable cabin!
The owner thought of everything, and the cabin was very well-appointed. You will need bottled water for drinking (because the well water definitely has an odor to it), but otherwise I cannot think of anything we needed. Kids loved being in a cabin, and the upstairs master suite was quite comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to return!
