The perfect spot
My husband and I rented this awesome home and brought along our 2 Golden retrievers. It was absolutely wonderful!!!! The house is open and spacious, very clean with everything you could need right there. The views from the deck are just beautiful. It was probably one of the nicest homes we have rented in our 5 years at the vineyard. It is so private, you feel like you are at your own little resort.
We really hated to see the week end and can't wait to return next year. Laura was great to deal with and very prompt getting back to you with any questions you may have.
Little piece of heaven
We completely agree with the other reviewer - Laura was a wonderfully accommodating person to lease from and her property is amazing!! We are still in mourning of that beautiful space and are already planning next year's return. The water-facing deck steals the show by far. We spent much of our time relaxing there with coffee or wine, watching the birds, crabs, wind surfers and kayakers. We enjoyed the quiet, mirror-calm water the first few days as well as the post-storm crashing waves the last few days. My hubby loved his cigar from the widows peak! Our trip was in Sept when the evenings were chilly, but we warmed our toes by the fireplace while watching the evening news. It really was a wonderful time!! You must check it out. Thanks again Laura, speak to you soon.
Wonderful Edgartown Home!
My husband and I rented Laura's home in Edgartown and had the most amazing week vacation. Her home is so spacious and accommodating that we didn't want to leave. The living/dining & kitchen are open and so inviting. The huge deck with the grill was fabulous and we really felt at home. Each bedroom was so spacious, the bathrooms are great, and the outdoor shower is so rustic! The house is located so conveniently to everything Martha's Vinyard has to offer and Laura is a doll to rent from. We will definitely be back next year!
Martha's Vineyard is known for its quaint villages and towns ... beautiful beaches and all water activities. Famous for art galleries, playhouse productions, charming shops and restaurants. September/Indian Summer is usually a 'perfect' times to visit ... the crowds have started to diminish, the nights are cooler and the days warm ... note reduction in rent for these weeks! Golf: There are three golf courses on Martha's Vineyard which are open to the public.
