About Victoria Kay
I love traveling, taking pictures, listening to stories, painting/drawing, meeting new people, and going on adventures! I am from Indianapolis, but moved here to attend Johnson Bible College. My kaleidoscope experience in Knoxville seasoned me with a stint in politics leaving me as a former Knox County Commissioner and former educator K-12. I am now a hobby artist and work in Air Quality, ambient air data management. I know this town inside and out and can give you great insights on what to do, where to go, etc.
Victoria Kay purchased this House in 2000
Why Victoria Kay chose Knoxville
This is in a hidden rural area of Knoxville south of the river near the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
What makes this House unique
I have had artists and writers stay at my place for their own retreat. I have housed medical students in residency, families of students attending the University of TN, many folks nearing retirement looking for property in the area, traveling nurses, quarry consultants from Italy, millwork artisans, artists for FanBoy Expo in July, band members traveling to town to play, bands who have played at Big Ear's Festival in March, actors being filmed in area for movies, business travelers, extended family visiting the area, stop overs for long distance travelers, production team members filming in the area, videographers, photographers, honeymooners, spring/fall/winter break students, etc.

Our 2nd Stay with Victoria
We have stayed at Victoria's Property, when we visited family in the Knoxville Area. She is very welcoming and the rooms are great. Primarily we stay the night and spend the days with family, so we don't need the extra space, but it is there if you do need it.
We will look forward to staying here again.
Frank, thank you for staying at my place again. You and your wife are such gracious guests! It is so nice to have five star VRBO guests that you can trust with your place while you leave the country! Thank you so kindly for home sharing with me . Look forward to future stays.

Enjoyable Stay in Knoxville Area
My husband and I were coming in to the Knoxville area for just a couple days and wanted a little place to stay that was not a hotel. The room in Victoria's house was just enough and suited our needs for the trip exactly. The house was easy to find and is painted in wonderfully bright colors. Victoria was a gracious host and made us feel at home.
Maria and Andy
Thank you all so much! So glad to have met you! Happy journeys!
Peaceful & artsy!
I was in town for the Alabama-Tennessee game, meeting my husband who arrived by boat via the Tennessee River. I wanted a peaceful nights rest away from the party of the Vol Navy until we departed the Sunday after the game. This is exactly what I got! A very sweet kitty welcomed me as a came through the private entrance to my bedroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, and it was very peaceful and quiet both Friday night and Saturday night. Victoria was very pleasant, kind, and helpful. I appreciate her allowing me to stay in her home and I definitely recommend!
The location was around 12 minutes to the stadium. There were two ways to access, and I took both routes over the weekend. Gorgeous country-side and well lit gas stations were located on the routes both ways. The house is brightly painted and was not hard to locate even though I arrived very late.
Stacey was very easy to communicate with - chatting with her felt like she was a long lost sister. I enjoyed having her stay in my guest accommodations. She is a 5 star guest!!!
Cozy, Comfortable, and Homey - Perfect!
Everything about my stay was as you would hope for - the room is cozily appointed and the bed is wonderful; it's a firmer memory foam mattress akin to a Tempurpedic. I wasn't sure about using the common rooms when I arrived, but after meeting Victoria, she made it clear I was welcome to relax not just in my room, but to enjoy the house! I'm so glad I stayed here instead of a traditional hotel in town.
The location is great - only about 15 minutes form downtown and UT, but it feels a world away, out on one of the winding roads in the country. She also has larger rooms for rent, which I'll look for should I have a chance to visit again with the family.
Thank you Nathanael for staying with me. I welcome you back any time along with your family. Blessings!
