very quiet on very large wooded lot-I try to provide as much as possible so you don't have to be wondering did I forget this did I forget that. Just take a look around and it is probably there:)
Our family had a blast at this property! The cabin was well stocked and clean. More than enough space for four adults and 4 kids. We caught and released many many fish and even saw a bear stroll by! We hope to visit again next year!!!
This property was wonderful for a quiet get away for 4 couples. We had a great time and the cabin was very nice. It was well below zero both nights and you could feel some drafts but the fire place helped keep us all warm. The owner was very easy to work with and has the cabin well stocked. It was nice not to have to drag so much from home.
There were ten of us that stayed at this Large Cabin and we were all impressed as to how nice it was. The setting was great having access to the lake. We were very close to the wedding we attended and were quite please with everything. We would highly recommend this cabin to friends and family.
Amazing serivce! Right on the Lake! Lots of room! It was just an amazing place to stay and your far enough away from town but close enough to get there for anything. I would recommend this for anyone!!
**its extra buggy everywhere this year, so bring bug spray!**
This was the most beautiful setting, quiet, clean lake, gorgeous cabin with wonderful views. The pictures don't do the place justice, you have to see it to believe it. Tracy was delightful and extremely helpful and her history of the place is very interesting. We had 10-11 people fit comfortably into this place and we will definitely be coming back. It is an easy commute from the Twin Cities and close enough to Cumberland to pick up any extra supplies or groceries, and to do a little shopping.
This was a great cabin experience for our family-myself, two sisters, and mom w/ spouses and kids ages 20 months-8 years. Overall the space worked out okay for us, though it was definitely cozy and a little crazy at times with everyone running around. The cabin was wonderfully stocked, which was one of the greatest ammenities available! Our only challenge was fitting everything into the refrigerators, but having a cooler or two for beverages alleviated the issues (and we tend to overpack/eat). The owner was very helpful and friendly, making us very comfortable and feel at home, which can be hard to find. The lake was very warm and a great size-a bit weedy on the swim out to the dive raft, but that is generally unavoidable in lakes in July. The kids had so much fun fishing, adults did too, though not many "keepers" to filet...this was okay by us since the action was the important part :) Having the paddleboats and rowboat available was perfect.
We made many, many irreplaceable memories, enjoying the time together. There was always something to do-many games/activiites available-and room to relax as well. The area has much to offer too if you want to get out for a day or two, and is close to town to run in for a bite, pizza, the store, bait, etc. For the price especially, this was great. Thank you for making our week away so wonderful!
