This marvellous updated holiday home from the 1960s is right by the French border and is furnished in a stylish and comfortable design. The holiday house is located in a quiet area and has a spacious garden, which is a great place to sit and relax.
The house is just 300 metres from the sea. You can enjoy lovely walks on the beach and strolls on the boulevard. There is plenty to do in De Panne itself, with lots of outdoor cafes in the town centre. Be sure to visit one of the famous mussel restaurants here. You can also cross the border into France for a little cultural excursion. It’s just a few minutes away, so you can pick up a quick baguette and a nice bottle of wine to make your evening complete. Also pay a visit to ‘Plopsaland’, located in De Panne. This amusement park is a great destination if you’re travelling with young kids. And don’t forget to take a peek at the beach towns of Oostduinkerke and Nieuwpoort, just a bit farther up the road.
Other fun options include a day of shopping in Bruges or sampling Belgian chocolates in Ghent.

Eleven of our family stayed and really enjoyed the house and garden. Plenty to see and do in the area, we used the trams and explored the coast, very good value for a day ticket which allows you to hop on and off. Easy access to the port, not too long a car journey to the house. We will go again.
De Panne is a seaside jewel not known outside Belgium and long may it remain that way. We took our 4 granddaughters aged 4,3,2 and 1 (and their two sets of parents) and everyone had a wonderful time.
ondanks het slechte weer , en zelfs zieke kindjes, hebben we en heel fijne vakantie gehad
Gezellige vakantie gehad in la Dolce vita.
