3 Bedroom House With Mountain & Sea Views In Peaceful Location

Downstairs you can enjoy the large open plan lounge and dining room with traditional stone walls. There are 2 large comfy sofas each next to a wood burning stove. The dining table can seat 12 people and there are french doors leading to a south facing terrace with spectacular views of the mountains, hilltop villages and the sea. Enjoy BBQ on the terrace in the peaceful mountain location. Outside on the south facing terrace is a large teak wooden table and chairs, sun lounger chairs and a large weber BBQ with gas. The kitchen and pantry area are fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and all cooking utensils plus iron and ironing board. At the entrance of the house there is a 2nd terrace with lounger chairs. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms each with stunning views. Bedroom 1 has a romantic four poster bed and has views over the hills, the village of St Cezaire perched upon the hilltop and all the way to the bay of Cannes, bedroom 2 has a double bed and has peaceful views of the olive groves and bedroom 3, accessed by bedroom 1 & 2, has a double sofa bed and a single bed and has stunning views of the valley's and the sea. The bathroom has a bath and shower and sink and there is a separate wc. All bedrooms have clothes storage. At the front of the house there is a car parking space. There is a desk where you can log in to internet access and WiFi. You will be delighted by the quietness and exceptional peacefulness of the area where at night you will hear the owls hoot. It is a haven of peace where you can relax, restore your energy and rest. The house has plenty of character with its traditional stone walls downstairs and was once part of the old farm many years ago and has since, been restored. Its location is 'away from it all' but not at all isolated as you can be at the nearest shops within minutes. The local villages of Seillans and Bargemon both have very delicious bakeries where you can buy your daily bread and patisseries. Enjoy! :)

About Lou Soleilou

We lived down on the coast near Cannes and since I have frequented the Var for many years, I have always wanted to live here! So here we are in a wonderful area and every morning I wake up and walk on the terrace, i congratulate us both for having bought this glorious and charming property.

Lou Soleilou purchased this farmhouse in 2012

Why Lou Soleilou chose Esterel - Fayence

We fell in love with the stunning view, the fact that on a clear day we can see the sea and the 'collines' of the bay of Cannes. The quiet and peacefulness of the area where we sleep so well as a result! The forest, the great air, the walks, the beautiful old stone villages and the view of the mountains and valleys! The light stone of the house that is full of character and the good energy that the house sings! :)

Fabulous provencal house

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic provencal house with gorgeous view across the valleys, in the heart of the lovely hamlet of st. arnoux ; very peaceful and serene, with stunning en-suite facilities.

we would say that photos don't even do it justice!

the owners ( faye, ivan and their lovely daughter) are very friendly and give full attention to the guests.

would recommend it to anyone.

pretty perfect, we loved it.

p.s. : there was even a bottle of rose wine waiting for us in the fridge! thanks to you all!

Ruhe gesucht und gefunden

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

A haven of peace nestled up in the hills, surrounded by protected forest, with views across the valleys of Provencal hill top villages and a far view of the Mediterranean sea and bay of Cannes. Beautiful old stone traditional Provencal villages within km's, step out of the house and you are on wonderful walking tracks that take you through protected forest land and link you to local villages. A stunning area that has plenty of vine yards, wineries where you can learn about local wines and taste the wines with local foods. Visit village markets where you can buy delicious fruit and vegetables from local farmers, olives and many other local produce. You are spoilt for choice with many delicious restaurants offering local cuisine. A short drive away and you visit the splendid and spectacular Gorges de Verdon, Lac St Croix, Moustiers St Marie, the Mediaval village of Bargeme and Mons. A short drive away and you can windsurf, pedalo, kayak and swim in the Lac de St Cassien. Large supermarkets and all other shopping needs can be done locally only a few km's away in Callian and Montauroux. Locally you will also find art galleries, poterie classes, horse riding, organic farms, large stalectites in the Caves of St Cezaires, cooking classes in Seillans village learning local and national dishes from France. If you like to cycle, this is a wonderful area to get out on your bike as the roads are not busy and the scenery is spectacular. There are many wonderful villages to stop in and visit, each one so different from the next. If you love to see sights from a birds eye view, there is the largest centre for gliding in Europe where you can hire a glider with an instructor at a very reasonable price. As you drive around this beautiful area, you will be stunned by such diverse and stunning scenery and on top of that, you have the beautiful Cote D'Azur sunny and warm weather. Enjoy the lavender, rosemary and thyme growing wild. Enjoy a nice glass of chilled local wine as the gentle pastel colours of the evening sky change in to a multitude of glistening stars. You will be graced by the beams of moon as it shines upon the sea in the distance and you will see the lights of the boats and they sail between Cannes and St Tropez.

Notes:
A magnificent place to get away from it all with friends, family or your loved one. There are so many great activities in the area, historic sites and cultural activities, yet it is equally a great place to rest, relax and just enjoy the house and the peaceful environment. There are plenty of food supermarkets within easy reach and other shops for all other goods and local markets on different days in each of the local villages.
