We loved the small town of Conca. Elena and Stani’s apartment was perfect for the two of us. We explored Amalfi, Positano, Capri and Pompei, but our favorite was the beach in Conca. Best food and atmosphere was at Le Bonta del Capo, recommended by our host. We made a friend, Rosa who owned The Bazaar down the road from us. She sold the bus tickets and was extremely helpful and cheerful. Also, the staff at Trattoria Nonno were great and the food was very good. Definitely recommend this location and apartment💕
Having nice friends everywhere in the world is really a good experience for us!
Amazing hosts!! We met only Stani but communicated with both throughout our stay. They are quick to respond and fixed WiFi issue the next day had someone to fix it. Stani picked us up from airport, showed us around and was so sweet and accommodating! Yes there are steps! Please be aware when booking but I feel like if you book without knowing that’s your own fault as all the reviews mention it. We are young and in good health and we’re still out of breathe when climbing the stairs! Overall our stay was amazing and the terrace is breathtaking! We enjoyed our time there and the bus location was super convenient right at the end of the stairs!
The Amalfi Coast is full of stairs but also of amazing views, wonderful places to visit and a very good food.
This holiday house is a perfect stay on the Amalficoast!
This house and location on the amalficoast are really worth while! Fantastic views on the mediterranean sea and away from the crowd:) the house itself is very cute and lovely with a stunning roof terrace ! However not suited for older people or the ones who cannot walk properly ! But , that counts for the whole Amalfi! I can really recommend this place ! The owners are very good in the communication and very friendly :))
My house is always open for such nice guests!
Cozy space and caring hosts
After visiting the other nearby towns, my wife and I realized how fortunate we were to stay in the off-the-beaten-path town of Conca. The ~120 steps up to the house were doable but it helps if you are in good health. The house was converted into a duplex. We rented the smaller half of the house and a very nice family of four rented the larger half. The wall dividing the units were quite thin as we were able to hear our neighbors but they kept reasonable hours so it was OK. The terrace on the roof had an amazing view and was the selling point, however we did not realize it was to be shared with our neighbors. We were fortunate in that we got along well with our neighbors and actually had dinner together on the roof one night but don’t expect to have exclusive use of the terrace if the other unit is rented. Stani picked us up and transported us to the property. He was charming and very knowledgeable of the area giving my wife and I a history lesson and tour of Conca. Elena was very responsive, offering advice whenever we asked. Together, they make a great team and the house is terrific value for the location and amenities.
It's always such a pleasure to have nice guests in our property.
Perfect for secluded Amalfi coast break
A lovely property with all you’ll need. Comfy bed with air con and a good shower room. Located in Conca Dei Marini, it’s great because you avoid all the busy areas of the coast. The locals are lovely and the food in all the restaurants is well priced and delicious. It was the perfect area to be far from the crowd and take in the Amalfi coast.
Elenor and Stani were lovely. They were keen to make sure our stay was pleasant. On arrival we found that there wasn’t a car parking space to go with the property as you have to climb 100 steps to get to it on the hillside. We had to leave our car in a lay-by on the outskirts of the town. I’d advise that you are fit and healthy if you stay in Conca Dei Marini as there are lots of steps.
Finally, due to the time of year, we had an invasion of ants. We managed keep on top of them and Elenor was keen to help. From speaking to other residents, they said that all properties in Conca Dei Marini have had ant problems this year too.
Overall, a brilliant stay. Great property with caring hosts.
This holiday home is in a beautiful village away from the tourist crowds. Amalfi is a short bus journey away so the best of both worlds! The perfect hosts with amazing local knowledge of the best places to visit. There are lots & lots of steps to the beach but we knew this so we were ready for them! We had a lovely holiday in this well cared for house. Thank you 😊
Conca dei Marini is located in the heart of the Amalfi Coast and is a village of just 800 inhabitants. Its geographical position is truly extraordinary for its panorama and quiet enjoyed. The climate is temperate and the silence is always assured. An excellent starting point for excursions over the whole coast and surrounding islands.
