We are constantly checking our unit and furnishings, replacing items and updating so our guests will want to return to our unit and find it as comfortable as ever.

We hope we have all you need for a wonderful Maui vacation; the comforts, convenience, and furnishings of home along with lots of things for the beach.

Check out the Maui Visitor Channel on the living room flat screen TV (Channel 7)

Swim with the fish & turtles. Watch the whales from the lanai or park when they are in the area. Just down the road is the boat launch where your scenic ocean trips can begin. Take the coast trail and beaches in either direction from right across the street.

Play golf at one of the nearby internationally recognized golf courses, browse the abundant shopping areas, try the fine & family dining restaurants and check out all the beautiful beaches. Much of the local flavor is within walking distance and it’s worth the time to take leisurely strolls.

There are no private beaches on Maui and you can explore several that are within walking distance of our condo. We have our favorite places, like Ulua Beach Park and Ahihi Bay Marine Reserve. The lava fields at the south end of the island may make you think you’re on another planet. Watch the sunrise or sunset from the top of Haleakala, kayak or paddle board to Turtle Town, and take the road to Hana at least once.

Look for turtles all along the shoreline and snorkel with them off the point between Kamaole Beachpark II & III, as well as many other places.

Why Marcia Suryan chose Maui

We looked at a lot of condominium complexes and liked Hale Kamaole the best. The floor plan offers an extra wide & open entry with wonderful views as soon as you step inside. The main room has a sofa, two large chairs, and a dining table & chairs. Hale Kamaole is a nice size complex, close to the park & beach, and has a great onsite staff. Hale Kamaole offers what we think is the best floor plan of any we looked at. Enjoy meals, the views, watch the whales and other sea life from the lanai!

South Maui and the Kihei area are our favorites on Maui. Our complex is across the street from Kamaole BeachPark III, one of the largest parks in South Kihei. You can snorkel, swim, boogie board, picnic, and more without having to pack up the car. Just walk across the street. Shopping, dining, walking paths, boat launch, and sandy beaches are all within walking distance.

What makes this condo unique

The beach & park are just a few steps away! No need to pack the car. You will be in walking distance of many restaurants & shopping opportunities. Hale Kamaole has two pools, a tennis court, 8 BBQ grills in two BBQ areas, and beautiful grounds. There is an onsite activities director who will help you book your activities. She welcomes questions and knows much more than she has time to talk about at her presentation. Ask about the helecoptor tour specials.

Dear Marcia & Anthony,

We have been coming here for over twenty years and this is by far the very best unit we have had the pleasure to occupy. Everything we could possibly need is here - it's beautiful, tasteful and so very comfortable. It felt like our home and, naturally, we treated it w/the same care. Thank you for your obvious thoughtfulness and generosity in sharing your home. We will always ask for #205 whenever we come again. Having read this book, we know we are not the only ones who feel this way.

This is my second time in this clean, well equipped , comfortable (including AC), unit. The owner is so tuned in to the needs and wants, of her quests. Including updating items. So us returning guests, has different towels, paintings, even down to the hot air popper, for my nightly snak. She makes a effort to replace the missing items that we might break ( Sorry Marcia for the glass ) or leave in other units.

A Lot of my time was spent on the beach enjoying my book , watching sunset, snorkeling and watching the turtles. The condo is within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, beaches, Or take a bus . Even though the local fruit stand was a bit far for me to walk , but the bargains are worth it. Bruised bananas (free) papayas (soft 3 for a $1.00) The staff is always friendly and excursion coordinator has all the answers and great prices.

Well Thank You for all the Memories. One more thing don't let the hurricane warnings scare you off. I have worst winds at Doran Beach on the Sonoma Coast but it does bring in the Sea Turtles in to rest on the beach 35 by the time we left. 80 the night before. Ah Memories And the bicycle / sun rise excursion down Haleakala breathtaking even for these old ladies. LOL Until next time. Thanks for the MEMORIES Your friend Debbie.

Beautiful Vista!!

This location is perfect for walking anywhere in Kihei along the beach. Loved being able to walk to "Da Kitchen" for the BEST local food around. Wonderful beach across the street, so much a "local" scene. Great swimming...good life guard area. Can't say enough about condo. Clean, efficient, every thing you will need for a relaxing wonderful vacation! Easy walking to Kihei Harbor for snorkeling to Molokini on the Redline tour! (what a fantastic group)!!

Nothing is wrong

It is alway difficult to judge anything, because the result based on where you are from and what do you expect. In this case the condo was OK, nothing was wrong. If you have not a 'Ritz Carlton' standard, than this condo is almost perfect. The most positive aspect for me was the existing A/C. But be careful, if the A/C is running, don't use the Micro, because the fuse is not strong enough and you will stay in the dark.

Owner's Response: As an owner it is always difficult to hear that there is any kind of issue. We visit our unit often to upgrade, update, and replace items. Having been there in all seasons, I must admit we have never used the A/C. We love open windows & island breezes which have always been enough, (along with the overhead fans at times). High-end hotel chains are no comparison for Hale Kamaole and I don’t think anyone is looking for that when booking a unit at Hale Kamaole. We offer a condominium with a fully stocked kitchen & ammenities at a very reasonable price. Some hotel rooms are priced higher than a fully furnished condo at Hale Kamaole. All that said we will be checking into the fuse situation. Mahalo & Aloha!

Marcia and Anthony, just wanted to let you know how much Sandra and I enjoyed your place in Maui. We had such wonderful weather, we spent every day at the beach. Your condo is so nicely decorated and well-equipped, it was like staying in a welcoming home.

Unit 205 is very close to the large park adjacent to Kameolole beach 3 (2 minutes from the door to the sand!). The complex managers and staff were always ready to help and answere questions, this is a first class facility.

Don't Hesitate to Rent This Condo

My wife and I stayed here for 10 days in February 2012. This is a well kept one bedroom unit on the second floor of a quiet building just across the street from a public ocean park. Every morning we ate breakfast on the lanai, taking turns spotting the whales that perform offshore. I can't think of one thing that we needed that the owner did not provide. Just buy your groceries and move in! We will certainly be back.

New Years at Hale Kamaole

This was our first experience working with VRBO and am happy to say that everything was as surprises. The property was spotless as was the condo itself...very well maintained. The grounds crew were present every day raking up leaves, transplanting etc. We made use of the concierge and the on-site office staff, both of which were most helpful. The owners worked with us on our needed dates. I was impressed at their communication and how well everything went. Kudos to Marcia and Anthony for sharing their lovely home in this way.

The photos were up to date and exactly as presented. Very light and airy feeling, extremely comfortable bed, new appliances and the view from the lanai spectacular. We were right across the street from a sloping green grass area, stepping on to beautiful Kamaole Beach #1. The building is very soundproof and we did not hear neighbors below or next to us at all.

The location is low key while being accessible to many restaurants and additional beaches. We were within walking distance of the Five Palms Restaurant where we enjoyed several meals in their open air restaurant on the beach...most pleasant.

One of our favorite excursions was driving the Road to Hana, the magical little town on the most eastern side of Maui. Like going back in time. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a cruise, seeing whales breach in the distance and a Luau at the Grand Weilea.

I would gladly recommend this property to anyone wanting a laid back vacation in Paradise that is also affordable. We will definitely use VRBO in the future and would return to this location again if it was available.
