Two decks with great views, covered porch facing waterway, dog run, enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold, fenced-in pet area. Nightly rentals are available off-season only with a 2-night minimum. Beach access 1- 1/2 blocks down SW 23rd Street.

This charming three-bedroom home is less than a two-minute walk to the beach. Paws Awhile has a spacious king bed, a queen bed, and a set of bunk beds along with a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room, so no matter who wants to sleep where you have space here. Cooling ceiling fans to circulate air throughout the house.

For indoor amusement, Paws Awhile has so many choices: TV's, a DVD player, and a DVD library. Whether taking a break from the sun and fun in the surf or relaxing in the evenings when you simply want to settle down with the family, this home offers games, books, and puzzles to keep everyone entertained.

The house has a spacious front deck and a two-story rear deck, both with great views! From the front, look out to the ocean and watch for porpoises playing! From the back, check out the ever-changing scenery of Davis Canal. Additionally, the covered rear porch faces the waterway.

With so many activities at the beach, you will want to make sure that your pet is comfortable, safe, and entertained, so Paws Awhile includes a fenced-in area. After you have spent a busy day snorkeling or body-surfing, splash off the salt and sand in the enclosed outside shower featuring both hot and cold running water.

Paws Awhile will charm your socks off, and shoes, so that you'll be in bare feet the entire time you are here. Relax! Breathe that fresh air cleaned from its ocean journey. Slow down, pause awhile at Paws Awhile!

Its ok.
The temperature in the house was ridiculous, it was anywhere from 74 to 78 inside. The door on the back deck where you would come in after parking cars, never worked. You couldnt get it opened 98% of the time, so someone would have to go to the other door to open it. Very disappointing as we had stayed at this house previously years ago.
