The condo is decorated in quality island style furniture. The master bedroom has a king size bed, 42' plasma TV, walk in closet, and separate tub and showers. The first guest room has a queen size bed, and a 32' LCD TV with DVD palyer. The second guest bedroom offers two twin beds, and a 32' LCD TV with DVD player. There is seating for 8 at the table. There is a queen size sofa-bed in the living room. The lanai has seating for 4 with a large Weber propane BBQ. Great ocean views from the master bedroom, living room, dining area and kitchen.

The ground floor also offers the great grass area behind the unit. We have a tailgate toss bean bag game available for our guests. The living room has a 3 cushion sofa with hide-a-bed, and two large wicker chairs, a 55" LCD TV, a blu-ray player and a bluetooth speaker. The dining room has a glass dining table with seating for eight. We have three young children ourselves so the unit comes with a highchair, port-a-crib, and toys (please be sure the kids leave them behind). The oceanside pool area offers a great workout area, plenty of seating, a private restaurant/bar and a BBQ pit. For those of you who prefer the beach we have provided beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and a couple umbrellas. Your stay here will be a memorable one. We hope you will return year after year.

Why Doug Erickson chose Kohala Coast

We have enjoyed visiting the 'Big Island' since our honeymoon is 2000. We used to stayed at a very famous resort until a few years ago when they tried to charge us $50/night per fold up bed when we were on a (Family Package). After that we decide we wanted to continue to visit Hawaii, but did not want to deal with the hotel 'profit centers' any more.

What makes this condo unique

Families with young children will enjoy the ease of not having to pack and travel with items such as port-a-cribs, beach towels, games, toys and other youth items. All of our guests will enjoy brand new furniture, TV's, kitchen items, and beds. We do not buy garage sale items like some owners. We have a lot of return guests, and we hope every guests visitsd us again. This gated community has a great oceanfront pool, spa, exercise room and private restaurant poolside. The unit is kid friendly with, highchair, port-a-crib, and kids kitchen items, yard games, board games, DVD in each room, tennis stuff and more.

Beautiful, well maintained and well furnished condo with Ocean View

Hali'i Kai is a wonderful complex with a beautiful ocean front pool, spa, food/bar pavilion and work out facility. The community is wonderfully kept and Unit 8H is well positioned to take advantage of a great view of the golf course and ocean.

The unit is very clean, very well furnished and stocked, and its owner is very responsive, professional and attentive to his client's needs.

One of the purposes of this trip was for us to look at properties to purchase. Thus, we were in and out of several complexes and several condos of various prices and sizes. Hale Kai is top notch, and this Unit is up there with the very best we saw.

Amazing stay on the Big Island!

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. Unit was nicely furnished and very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, everything you need to prepare your own meals, which we did frequently. Great Weber grill on the lanai along with an amazing Hawaiian ocean-sunset views. Unit has all the essentials for a day at the beach as well (Coolers, chairs, umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, etc). We used it all and were very appreciative that we had access to it. Beaches are close by (visited Hapuna and Mauna Kea) and were some of the finest beaches we have ever experienced in Hawaii. Doug made booking the condo easy and took great care of us whenever we needed him. Weekly rate is quite reasonable to boot. Don't hesitate to book this unit on your next Big Island vacation!

The condo exceeded our expectations. We were impressed with the condo decor and how it was outfitted. Doug thought of everything and the high quality was appreciated. The view of the golf course and ocean from the condo patio welcomed us each morning. My young adult kids LOVED having the gym with stellar ocean views, salt water pool, beautiful fauna, and restaurant within walking distance of the condo. The island itself offers a a great variety of things to do. Yelped helped us find great local dining options, and the book Hawaii The Big Island Revealed by Doughty helped us find the gem beaches and some attractions which made our vacation week fly by. We look forward to returning.

Had a wonderful time!

This property is in a great location on The Big Island. The unit was well appointed and had great beach supplies (boogie boards, sand toys, umbrellas, chairs). The pool is wonderful. Not crowded and great for families. The pool side bar/restaurant was very welcomed and we enjoyed happy hour most days. This is the only development in the area with the kid friendly pool and restaurant and made life much easier. We hit various beaches each morning and spent our afternoons in the pool and hot tub. This unit is within easy walking distance to the pool. Parking is quite limited so being able to walk was nice. Highly recommend staying here.

Very Nice Condo

Stayed for 7 nights and really enjoyed this condo.

The location is excellent, convenient for shopping, sightseeing, beaches, and is located on the dry part of the Big Island!

The condo itself is very well appointed, and a comfortable home base.

The property is well maintained and the view of the ocean is nice.

The WiFi coverage and speed were excellent.

We would definitely stay again and recommend this property.

Great time

Hi, we (3 professors) stayed at the condo for 6 nights during a conference and had an awesome time. Especially we were surprised how well equipped the condo is. From the kitchen, over the bikes up to the snorkeling gear. Just perfect. I would definitely come back; this time with my family though. Thanks for everything! Tim
