3 BEDROOMS AND 2 BATHS--FOR THE PRICE OF A 2 BEDROOM. THIS IS THE BEST PRICE YOU WILL FIND FOR A PRIVATE 3-BEDROOM HOME THIS CLOSE TO THE BEACH--2 BLOCKS ( ABOUT A 2-MINUTE WALK.
Laguna Beach is a quiet residential area on the west end of Panama City Beach. This one-story modular home-away-from home is only 2 blocks from the natural sea oats, powdery sands and crystal blue/green waters of this magnificent, dedicated stretch of shoreline.
For almost a mile, there are no buildings, condos, or vendors to disrupt your view or serenity. Upon your return from the beach, you'll especially enjoy the outdoor shower and then take your cool beverage to the large screened-in porches on both the front and back of the house.
We are just about 4 blocks from Thomas' Donuts, 4 miles from Pier Park, less than 10 miles from airport and 2.5 miles from Frank Brown State Park and Shipwreck Island.
While located in a sleepy little beach community with a family/relaxed atmosphere, this recently remodeled beach home is also close to all the activities, clubs, restaurants, gift shops, grocery stores, shopping, fun and games--the new Pier Park and Shipwreck Water Park are only a ten-minute drive away. Pier Park is 9,333 sq. feet of retail shops, boutiques and restaurants as well as a 16-screen theater.
This home is all on one level and has a full kitchen, laundry room and large family room open to the kitchen and dining room. All you have to bring is your tootbrush and bathingsuit. Everything else is provided.
We also have a 2-bedroom/2bath cottage next door. It's fun to rent both houses for great family reunions/vacations, softball tournament groups and wedding parties.

We love the the private, quiet and beautiful dedicated beach as well as the new Pier Park which is only a few minutes from our houses. Having two houses next door to each other allows us to bring our children and grandchildren and stay next door to each other for wonderful family vacations.
Gail Raines purchased this house in 2002
We were in Laguna Beach (for the first time) on vacation in 2002 and just fell in love with the area, the natural beach and the community atmosphere. While down there, we decided to look around for a place of our own; found this house and made an offer --all in the same day. In October, 2009, we remodeled, putting in new kitchen cabinets, countertops, dishwasher, new floors and vanities in the bathrooms. We love the new look. Hope you will too.
Vacationing here is like being in your own home, except you're at the beach. We love staying in the house with our own laundry facilities, full kitchen, dining room, kitchen bar, two bathrooms and roomy/open concept family center rather than a crowded condo with elevators. We especially enjoy the outdoor shower when coming in from the beach. Having a garage is also a nice amenity.
By far one of the worst rental houses I ever stayed at. I don't even know where to start with this property. After paying the full rental fee the owner did not even bother sending the confirmation of the rental, on how to even get into the property. We drove in a little early so we contact the property manager how to get in, 2hours waiting in the car in the heat with our kids, for a response. After figuring out how to get In she decides to email us "important information to know" it would have been great to get that prior to waiting in the heat for 2 hours. Next we noticed ants in the restroom and one of the bedrooms but didn't think nothing of it. After two days they were EVERYWHERE even in the living room. We made sure we cleaned everything spotless just in case it was due to food left behind or something, nope they came back. We moved the furniture around when doing it, there was sticking stuff and trash all over under the furniture, so you know the cleaning service isn't even doing there job. I even woke up in the middle of the night to them crawling on my bed and On myself, I was disgusted. I don't think the "cleaning service" has ever sprayed anything in the property. My husband had to go out and spray the whole house down and we had to leave to air out the house. After the spray the ants and bugs did not come back. Only until the last night when the kids forgot to cover tub drain. We woke up to the restroom cover in bugs. wait there's more, house was so under stocked. We had to go out and buy so many things that the house should have came with. Never again will I rent from them again. I would be embarrassed if I knew I was renting my house to a paying customer and my property looked like that. I wouldn't even give this house 1 star. The only thing I did like about this rental was the fee, but I guess you get what you pay for. next time I'll think about that twice and pay a few more hundred dollars for a rental that is worth it. Guys think about this property twice before renting it. I wish I should have.
Seven friends & I stayed in this house & it was really great! There were three girls and we shared the master bedroom, the bed was huge! The master bathroom could really use a new tub, though. There's a big crack & it was a little scary to shower in. The owners were incredibly friendly and accomodating! Because we're younger students they did ask us to pay a higher deposit, which is completely understandable and fair. The screened in porches were great to just sit on and hang out. There definitely is an ant problem, but there were some ant traps we found in the cabinet, and we set those out and within a day they were pretty much gone. We definitely want to make this a yearly trip, it was incredibly affordable and the short walk to the beach was awesome! The neighborhood was quiet which is great for people with kids or those who like to go to bed at a reasonable hour. (:
This house is a short walk from the beach. The house itself is roomy, but needs some updating. First the shower in master bath made you feel like you were fixing to fall thru the floor. The beds were very hard. Finally, ants and roaches everywhere. We had to throw away food that was in the cabinets. We had to eat out a lot because of the bugs. We had a pizza on the counter and within 30 minutes roaches were on it. The owners were very nice, but I wish there were more current reviews before I rented.
Two thumbs up!! Staying at this rental house helped make our first family vacation experience in Florida amazing!! We loved how it was very clean and spacious and only two blocks away from the beach. The front and back screened porches were very cozy and great places to relax in. Our visit was due to our daughter playing select softball at Nationals. Having access to a washer and dryer daily was very much needed and greatly appreciated. We really enjoyed saving money by eating home cooked meals throughout the week instead of eating out all the time. We liked the fact that there was a small grocery store located nearby down the street. It was very convenient when needing this or that. This home truly did have that warm feeling of being at home while away from home! We look forward to renting it again the next time we visit the area. We're very appreciative to the owners for their kindness of sharing their home! :)
Great owners to work with, convenient for our trip!
Will be renting again!
Thanks for a great vacation!
My family and I rented this home the week of June 12-19, 2010. It was everything advertised and more! It was so cozy that we did not want to leave. If there were any issues or concerns, the owners were more than accomodating to us. This home is located in a very quiet family friendly neighborhood. Everything is conveniently located. We had full access to the kitchen and washer and dryer. Cooking surely helped to keep us from all of the bad fast food every day.
My children loved the fact that they could walk to the beach. We did that just about every day we were there. There was plenty of room for them to run around and be kids. This was our first experience renting a home for our vacation. I can truly say that we will probably never go back to paying for hotels. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your rental!
This vacation home is located 2.5 miles from Frank Brown Park, 4 miles from Pier Park, Treasure Island and 4 blocks from Thomas's Donuts and Carousel. It is about a 2 minute walk to the beach, but there is parking if you choose to drive. The new airport is about a 15-minute drive.
